A) Graphics aren't exactly "better" on PC. They are slightly modified, due to newer hardware - but since it's a console game, it's a "console-port" with minor graphic enhancements, nothing even worth mentioning.
B) Controls are in this case, worse. Unless you plan to use a controller, mouse+keyboard is bad for sports/car games.
C) Playing sports/car games usually means you got friends playing with you (you have any Chak_?) and ...
@ Jezuz: That's what I am saying. You can purchase XP-boost & RP/IP-boost. Those makes you level faster and earn heroes/skins/runes faster, thus - you purchase to become better than your equal opponents.
You don't have to buy heroes, but to stay competitive, you must. In HoN, you get ALL heroes for $30. In LoL, if you purchased all heroes with real-life currency, that would be almost $600.
This is the type of games that should be console exclusives. There is no point in putting FIFA on the PC, i've bougth a console exclusively to play FIFA, Madden, NFL & evey other sports & car-game I like.
No one knows if this one is even true? Await twitter.com/fourzerotwo 's announcement tomorrow about this feature before spitting.
You are aware that $30 is an incredibly low price for a game today, yes?
In League of Legends, you can pay to be better than your opponents. You must purchase heroes by either playing 70-80 games (for one hero) or pay $9 each, and theres a whole lot of heroes there.
LoL isn't Pay2Play, it's LimitedPlay, you get a few heroes each week, that's it. It's not fun and it's not balanced. Blow your mother, cunt.
I'm tired of people not putting up decent defensive mechanisms.
It's like having a bank and leaving your door open at midnight so thiefs can sneak in and steal every penny available.
Is this actually EB Games & Gamestop's fault? I heard it was taxes in Australia (and I wouldn't wonder due to the strict rules you got down under).
@radphil:
I wasn't saying it's not illegal and neither do I approve of it. However, only seeing the negative side of things is way to common and instead I can see something positive on this issue. Companies that deal with alot of peoples personal information such as credit cards, passwords and other data that is supposed to be secret, can be revealed by criminals. Clearly, there isn't enough awareness and not enough preventions to online data theft and with the re...
Are they getting out of control? I think they're helping people realize that virtual crime is something very active today and that people should shape on on their security. I don't agree that stealing data is a good thing, but neither do I hate the hackers for breaching security systems as it just shows that we give away our data to people we cannot trust, who don't care for our personal datas safety.
Probably will be. Scraps of the Infinity Ward that made CoD 1&2, CoD4:MW & MW2 will make a rather dissapointing single-player & Raven Software & Sledgehammer will make a totally different experience of Multiplayer.
If they took in too much Battlefield: Bad Company, the game won't be as good as MW3.
If they stick to the Battlefield 2-type of game, then yes...It will be the best FPS ever.
I found the terrible graphics more scary than the monsters and the explosions was only great so that they could lighten up any free-to-take ammo boxes that conviniently were set there.
I loved Duke Nukem, Doom & Quake when I was younger, but I wouldn't be very excited if another Duke was released with the same gameplay, it's way to dull compared to what you can create today.
I just purchased Duke Nukem 3D, hopefully DNF won't just be an updated-graphics version, but actually containt both gameplay and features of 2011.
Pirates of the Carribean: On Stranger Tides
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2
Captain America: The First Avenger
Transformers: Dark of the Moon
Cowboys & Aliens
Green Lantern
Add to Watchlist
The Three Musketeers 3D
The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn
I would say, chances are that blockbuster movies are coming out in 2011.
True, I'm getting BF3 without a doubt this time, only because it's THE Battlefield. In my opinion, Bad Company was a terrible game, plain and simple. Gameplay was dull and slow, not a tenth of the fun you had in Call of Duty. Battlefield 2 is however an epic shooter and I will definately purchase it's sequel.
Raven Software & Sledgehammer does have me awaiting MW3 also, but I won't buy it before alot of reviews.
Two new developers, Sledgehammer & Raven Software working on the Multiplayer. I wouldn't say I am "excited" about it, but I am definately gonna take a look at the E3 coverage, previews and gameplay footage to get an opinion on the game before crying like a baby.
Wouldn't say it's awesome. It's fun for casual gaming though, only play with friends!
People are making assumptions based on MW2 & Black Ops. These two games are the most sold First Person Shooters in history. Obviously, both games "raised the bar" and personally I think the gameplay in both games were really good, but it had lacks and flaws that made me give up on both after ½ a year of play.
With Sledgehammer & Raven Software focusing on the Multiplayer part, you can expect to see a new dimension from outside sources using the IW Engin...
Don't fix what isn't broken?
I am all in for newer graphics, but personally I think MW2's graphics was really great. I am sure they have updated the engine, as they have done with every CoD game. Remember, Battlefield 3 is made for PC, CoD is certainly not.
Sniping in CoD4 is fucking annoying, it's so easy. If clan matches allowed it, my team would use five snipers all the time.
