Yeah, I'm on the first island too. I've not really even done as much exploring as I'd like too, I've just been doing missions and playing a lot of pool suprisingly...

Oh come one, it's not a win for MS, no where near as many people bought GTAIV as they should have, considering the install base. PS more than exceeded the percetage of people owning systems to people buying the game...
Has anyone else found anything... I'm not that far into it yet, so I'm still unlocking normal things :(
@kornbeaner I agree, you need competition so we all benefit from the competition. EA sucks... has for a long time... it's all blase games with mediocre content and everyone who throws something interesting get's bought and shelled out.. couldn't agree with you more.
THey are already so freaking big, why do they need take two... I just hope they don't settle.... of course it is a business.. money is all that matters, not the games... to a degree of course.
The only fix I have saw is getting a new disk... unfortunately.

I have this, and I don't care for the wheel, but the game is fun, just like the others were, definately worth getting.
I have the 40gig and mine works fine. Apparently it doesn't matter which one you have though (no reports have been filed under 40 gig version) but 60's and 20's have been doing it.

Price
A bit obvious this one, but at £299 the 40GB PS3 will be about £50 cheaper than the 60GB version. The price for the 60GB PS3 console will drop to £349*. This should bring the PS3 price more inline with the Xbox 360, unless Microsoft do a tit for tat and drop the price of the 360 again.
Ethernet Ports
Unchanged. A lot of people are reporting a loss of ethernet ports, but the 60GB console only ever shipped with one ethernet ...
Has anyone heard of a 360 fix? Or a fix besides uninstalling and reformatting the PS3???
It apparently more prevalent on the PS3... although really too early to tell yet again.
I heard that, but it hasn't been working I suppose, I took that as the point of this article.
I'm just glad that the service tech was so nice :) No matter which system you own, this game freezing is a definate issue. It's really too early to tell what can be done about it.

Haha, Mine's working fine anyway, so I have nothing to worry about (40gig PS3). It must be bad disks, I just got lucky.
I agree, I bought mine for sure, you think this latest media scare of GTAIV freezes will have an effect on sales??? Mine works just fine by the way.
I just saw it as a counterpoint to all the negative add campaigns you mainly see now as a gamer. It's nice to hear of studies proving otherwise.
In fact, I don't even think that I have the ability to go to that statue yet, though I haven't really looked.
