Hmmm... so you burn more calories if you move??? Has anyone else heard of this, Now THIS is late breaking news!!! Contact Science and tell them this!!! (not bashing the poster, just what the article tells us)
Metal gear has always been better than splinter cell, that's a fact, but making Splinter an exclusive seems, unless there is a LOT of money from MS, silly.
I was replying to a different article, sorry about that :) Weird that it fit here though, Disregard. I have like three windows open. Sorry again.
Another shooter eh?? Bleh... Tired of shooters, graphics look good though.
This is a duplicate story, this came out two days ago under the heading "Phil Harrison on the Decline of Single Player Gaming"... We've already learned about and discussed this in other words.
OMG I completely agree with you... I wouldn't even steal a copy and turn it in to gamestop for the 5 bucks they'd give you for it. It was about like Haze... I played it... later that night I beat it... THE END!!! Multiplayer is only fun for me for like... a day or so.
I liked lost odessy too, I think it will be just fine when it hits the shelf.
Lord, half this article is opinion based, the BD being basically equal to DVD9.... that's just incredible... who lies like that and sleeps at night.
Awwwww, it's good advertising I suppose, I mean, you have to use the bathroom, and you don't have to look at the wall or toilet stall... but you have to look at where you piss is going.
To say that downloads are going to take over for DVD, CD's, and BD you have to assume that everyone in the world has a computer, not just some, but over 95% IMO. It won't happen in our lifetime. It just won't. You don't have to be a tech head to operate a DVD player, but you do have to have a working knowledge to succefully download a movie, make sure you have the proper codec's required to play this movie, plus the proper programs to watch and choose between extra features, menu options, lan...
20% more bullsh!t?
Maybe we didn't hype it because everyone chose to bash a game that, honestly, is the same as halo in many ways. But you can't turn on G4 or comedy central and not see a Haze commercial every other break. At least you couldn't last week. It will sell, and it's not that bad of a game. Too much like halo for me though. I'm sick of that game.
Yes, but Lost oddessy is a good game, and Heavenly sword (although a little short for my tastes) is an excellent game as well... I don't see the need for multiplayer on EVERY game. I played GTAIV multiplayer for about an hour until I was bored... but the single player at least was fun, and would have been even better if the money would have been spent on improvements to the universe itself rather than an online environment. It was put in there to sell copies, and I suppose it did. But it was ...
I think that they put a lot of effort into Haze as an online experience, rather than using that money to further create an excellent single player environment. I've played haze... it's a game alright, that's about all I can say for it.
Bubbles for you man, I don't post a whole lot of news, just post what I care about really. But this statement bothered me. I am with you on the story. I don't want multiplayer to be a prerequisite to if a game is good or not. But another factor that I think he is speaking of is that the mass market are buying up multiplayer games at an alarming rate. I hope that Final Fantasy XIII and Fable 2, and I even have heard talk of Persona 4 coming in a few years. I just hope those games do well, that...
I know a lot of you will disagree, but I don't even play online anymore. I used too, when Counter Strike was the hot thing, I failed a semester of college for that game. I played Age of Empires, just got bored with online play. That's really it. I only play Single, and Co-op games now. And I don't play online at all. I know a lot of people like that, just because it's what is hot right now, does not mean that Single player games are dead. I'm playing Digital Devil Saga II for PS2 and GTAIV PS...
What no one that I have seen, and I may have missed a comment or two, is that regardless of this UltraHD capacity, if it comes out in 2011.. it'll cost 20,000 USD to buy one... then MAYBE it'll be cost efficient by 2015. By the time we are all ready for our next HDTV, this one will be ready, and maybe in a brand I trust like Samsung, Hitatchi, or Sony.
Has anyone here even played the game?? I'm intrigued but I'd like to hear an honest opinion of it from some of you all.
They should hit us with a Chrono Trigger HD sequel for PS3 (and as long as they would pour the Squeenix love into both) even let it go to Xbox360 just to drum up some money.
Aaron Greenberg is the same way as Kim, both full of Bashing. But that is MS for you. Great Interview though with Kaz.
