Not to mention CDPR were perfectly clear about it not being there - which should have been obvious, considering they've only just finished The Witcher... I wouldn't expect to see it next year either.
People should be more concerned for games like Rime, Crackdown, Wild, Deep Down, Mass Effect and The Tomorrow Children - all of which have suffered from a series of unexplained delays... at least we finally got a proper look at The Last Guardian and Zelda.
Why not?
You don't know what 'seriously' means... Sea of Thieves has by far the most realistic ocean physics I've ever seen - miles better than AC:Black Flag's or World of Battleships (which is free to play).
Have you ever played any of Rare's games? A lot of them have this aesthetic.
No Man's Sky is an indie from the Joe Danger crew... Rare has an anniversary collection.
Yes, any game that uses dynamic scaling will get a boost in performance - Wild Hunt included.
Same - I figure it's gonna be one of those 'all time greatest' type of games, so it makes sense to want the best possible version... that said, I do hope the NX is backwards compatible, since there's a few Wii-U exclusives I'd like to play.
Have you played the original?
I guess the grapple-line is pretty 'zippy'... but this still sounds like bad news.
Any word on dedicated servers? I guess if they go P2P I can just wait til it's on EA Access, which runs on the Azure servers, but I don't want to wait.
@ thekhurg: No, they'd be just as likely to die as anybody else... just run 'em off the road with a car and they're good as dead.
You know who survives? Johnny Depp on his private island - isolated, secure, well-supplied, probably has a seaplane as well as a boat - plus I hear he's a 'fighter'... he probably wouldn't even realise there was an apocalypse until he went home to stock-up on fresh bisexual supermodels.
Pretty sure these guys are actually in love with Geralt... can't say I blame them - he is pretty dreamey.
What I want to know is why do all these mo-capped protaganists have the same hunched-over walk?
Uncharted, Quantum Break and Days Gone all have it - pretty sure LA Noire had it too... I guess capture tech isn't quite there? That or it weighs a ton... that would explain why noone's ever gotten horses movements right.
Watch Square Enix's 'Witch' tech-demo - it's running on a scaleable engine which they're using in upcoming games... pretty sure it's available for download as a 4k video - not that it'll matter to you.
Of course it was... AMD, MS and Sony are in mutually beneficial cahoots.
OT: Nintendo won with Zelda... any other answer is wrong.
Obviously they're aren't worried about you buying PS4 exclusives on PC... multiplats are the problem.
It felt natural to me - reminded me of the first time I played GTA online... obviously the footage was edited for presentation's sake, but it certainly didn't make me cringe.
That said, the FFXV demo was cringeworthiness personified.
It's designed for hardcore gamers, who tend to buy a lot of games, so I wouldn't be suprised if Microsoft sold it at a loss and recouped their $$$ through software... I'm thinking USD$600.
Forza 7 will definitely be used as a 'launch' title, but Halo's a tall order - not impossible though... aside from the new consoles, this year's E3 was mostly about putting dates on their unreleased games - pretty sure Sea of Thieves, Crackdown and State of Decay 2 are their only undated 1st party titles.
Next year's E3 will be about showing new games on the new console (with XO comparisons released post-conference)... I'm glad they're taking a h...
Mmm... I know they've said there won't be Scorpio exclusives, but I figure that's only until they announce 'project Aquarius' (say 2020), at which point games will shift to Scorpio/Aquarius, then Aquarius/Taurus and so until they run out of Zodiacs.
Point is, Star Citizen should be out by 2020 and seeing as Scorpio's a VR-capable beast, I was thinking a port isn't out of the question - seeing as 4K isn't required... IF ANYONE FROM MICROSOFT I...
Bummer.
Really? Must be the least-used word in that language.
You can smell the apprehension with these big-name 'AAA' VR games... the majority appear to have been slapped together/tacked-on as a means of cashing in on the off-chance that VR actually succeeds.
