The fact that it's releasing on the 3DS aswell as the Wii U could have a negative impact on sales. A friend of mine is buying a 3DS rather than a Wii U to play the game, and if that is common practice when the game releases, it may not move many Wii U's. I personally already have the Wii U and will be picking it up day 1, but I feel like there's the potential for the Wii U to lose a lot of sales to the 3DS version.

They could delay it 6 months if they wanted, I'll still be getting it on 360. I don't think there's anything that would drive me to pick up an Xbox One.
I'd buy one. I'm holding out on getting a PS4 till there are more games out, but PS4/Vita bundle would definitely entice me. I'd never buy a vita full price on it's own as I quite simply don't like it, but I'd gladly have one bundled with a PS4 for it's streaming capabilities.
@cleft5 Iwata has confirmed that there'll be no price drop till March 2015 at the earliest.

In my opinion they're just enough. I don't like knowing too much before going into any new game, as it ruins the surprise! I'd love it if some of the games hidden characters were never even announced prior to its release.
You assume too much. I read it, it's based off of Sonic Boom the upcoming CG animated series. This in no way means I can't hate the character design.

I have the Wii U and the PS4, and as much as I want more games for my PS4, I'm going to be waiting for the Wii U version for the gamepad functionality.
