Maybe a little early to be making any kind of statement on whether or not MK8 has "saved" the Wii U. Regardless, we all knew it wouldn't be long before this kind of hater article showed it's dirty face.
I still have 4 of these bad boys, just need the adaptor and I'll be good to go!
I won't be happy until they announce Girahim.
I personally don't care for battle mode, and if battling on the standard tracks freshens it up I'm all for it. One thing I like is the prospect of being able to actually drive the standard tracks however you want, which means you'd actually be able to do some exploration of areas you may not necessarily go to. Think Peaches castle on Royal Raceway from mario kart 64.
Is there ever any hype for a guaranteed yearly release? Never mind a yearly release that's been using the same engine for the past 7 iterations.
There hasn't been enough to persuade me to buy either console yet. I will be getting a PS4 somewhere down the line, but not right now when there aren't enough games to warrant the cost of the console. To be fair, infamous does look incredible, but a must have? No, not really.
Nope.
I'm picking up a 3DS for it, and once the Wii U version arrives, I'll be buying that aswell. That's about £200 - £250 they'll be getting out of me alone!
So you're saying that only 2/3 current Wii U owners will pick this game up? Never mind the fact that this game WILL move units (Though exactly how many is yet to be seen), your prediction is more than likely way off.
What? Like a big red button that just says "FIRE!"?
Really? I was hoping for 5 player local multiplayer...
Still can't get it any cheaper than £30-35 here in the UK, and that's even if it's preowned.
As much as I want Microsoft to "win" this, I kind of want EA to keep their streak going.
"Rare" would say that. If there was no kinect they'd be out of a job!
K. Rool and Girahim.
I'd usually be pretty buzzed about this, but after the last 2 games (5&6) I honestly couldn't care less. I'll be getting my survival horror fix in the form of The Evil Within when it releases.
Nope. And that's exactly why I never have (and never will) buy any retail game digitally. With indie games you have no choice, which is why they're only exception.
They do. Pikmin 3 challenge maps is just one example.
No.
Probably about a year after their next console come out in about 5 years.
If done right, and with Christian Bale or Hugh Jackman as snake, I'd definitely be game!
