X1 has been doing monthly updates since the launch and another one is coming in November. Take all the MS updates and this PS one still doesn't come close, A+ for effort though.
On topic, this is an excellent update for PS owners. The game share feature is such a great update. I could careless about being able to play my own music during a game, thats why I have a stereo system, but the game sharing is #1. Nice job Sony.
I actually think it's more of a pain in the a$$ to play your music using your gaming system. Song comes on you dont feel like listening too, gotta to to music player and change it. If you just played it through your home stereo or sound dock, whatever, you just hit 1 button and your switched.
Maybe I'm weird but I actually don't like playing music while I'm playing a game, especially like BF where I want to hear someone's foot steps or something going on. ...

Haha if someone gave me a Wii or Wii U for free, I'd sell it on eBay. Sorry but a couple Nintendo exclusives don't do it for me. Not when I can go into CrapStop and see 10 horse games and other ridiculous games they pump out for that system. Bring back a proper Nintendo gaming machine (N64/Gamecube).
Cant you just buy an external hard drive and be done with it? Idk about the rest of you, but I've had my console for almost a year now and I'm not even at 50%. I get the new Madden or NBA, I delete last years. I trade/sell a game, I delete it. Right now I've got Titanfall (and all DLC), Diablo, Madden 15, Forza 5, and Battlefield (with DLC). I had the original X360 that came with a 20GB hard drive and I never had storage issues and I had that system for 5-6 years (before it died)....
I'm not a fan of Lord of the Rings and all that, so I passed on the game. Everything I've read and heard the game has been great, but I just can't get into that game's environment.
It's also a racing game and normally racing games aren't big/crazy sellers. Don't forget, lots of games have come out recently and also upcoming so maybe people need to pick and choose what they buy.
I've got to disagree with some of the items mentioned.

- Sorry but the guns in Destiny are bland. They lack creativity and for the most part, every gun looks the same and only a couple different types. The shooting mechanics are different because Borderlands guns are for the most part, ridiculous lol.

Diablo 3 is a must buy, the game is excellent. And yes, modded gear is bountiful in the game but if you play on lower level difficulties than you will find people with legit gear. To be honest, I've got a modded sword and rings, that's it. I like to play on the hardest difficulty possible and even doing 30 million damage it's still an absolute battle to the death. Some people come in with every piece of gear modded doing BILLIONS of damage.

Can someone please explain to me why this is important? Who honestly cares which system sold more? Do you get a % of all PS/X1 sales? Does either company personally thank you for your purchase? Some people are so tied up in console wars it's ridiculous. Buy a PS, buy an Xbox, buy a Wii, who the H#ll cares I mean seriously. Eventually X1 will win a month somewhere along the line so what's the big deal?
The only time I think a review is useful is if the game is buggy and glitched. If the frame rate is horrible, constantly freezes, or various other problems then a review is great to save you $60. But I've played games that reviewers said were junk just because it was the most gorgeous game or the controls were clumsy.

Visually the game is beautiful. But like any racing game, the actual racing is what matters. DC looks 10X better then Forza, but no one has yet to comment on the actual gameplay and physics of the game. The mini cooper was taking turns at 115 mph and barely any give up on traction. Maybe the car is tuned or upgraded, but as a racing game and racing fan, I care more about how the game plays. It's nice to have awesome graphics, but the gameplay is what really makes a game.
I've got it for x1 and I have to be honest, its not very good. Really disappointed in almost every aspect of the game. I think its a 6/10 kind of game. I have no excitement to play it or anything to look forward with it. I know GameStop is offering $40 up until like October 8 so I'll be trading it in by then. Game just provides zero fun/excitement to me. All preference though.
After the turd that BF4 was, they really should sell this game at $30 or $40. Charging $60 just doesn't make sense. The BF series needs an over haul and a "I'm sorry" for putting out such a broke a$$ game as BF4 was. BF really didnt do anything to make up for the garbage that was BF4.
It's funny how everyone called Forza 5 a "half of a game" because the car count was low (like 200?) and Forza 4 had like over 500. All the PS fans ripped Forza 5 for it. But it's OK for DC to release with less than 50. Then you got to buy additional cars. So why is it OK for DC to do this but Forza was frowned upon? Hypocrisy at it's finest.
The lesson learned is this isn't a great game. Despite the hype train, the game missed, sorry. Idk why they cant just leave the loot cave, if you want to use it fine. I personally dont like grinding and farming for hours and hours hoping to drop something. I love Diablo that every time I play, a legendary drops. Of course i am playing it on super hard difficulty, but it's actually fun and doesnt feel like grinding.
Funny how this is ANOTHER thread your in knocking down this game. Give it a rest already dude, the game is doing way better on review scores then Destiny which received mostly 6's and 7's. Meanwhile Sunset is mostly receiving 8's and 9's.
Those 2 games are completely different. Would you rate Horizon 2 vs this game? No.
