Bots help people who aren't 100% dedicated to playing competitively. I don't like COD because to be honest, I'll jump on and get killed by people who play it 24/7 and have 100 weapon attachments and 50 kill streaks going at once. The bots help those people feel like they helped. And in other game modes, they take a few seconds off your build time. Every online game shouldn't just be a crushfest for those who play it 24/7.
Does anyone understand the purpose of the bots? Not everyone wants to play COD where people master it and then just destroy people all game long who casually play. The bots help those who want to play online and feel like they contributed to the team. One mode is geared towards killing anything that moves. Every other game mode just gives you time off of your Titan build. Majority of the time I don't even kill the bots because I dont want to give away my position and the Spectres take a l...
Oh here we go again with the "wasn't exclusive to Xbox" debate, just so you can say it wasn't an exclusive. It was exclusive to MS, does that make you feel better? 99.9% of the time when people talk exclusive, they mean consoles.
Titanfall was hated on by the PS community because it wasn't on Playstation. Once the 2nd one is announced, it will be the greatest game ever created.
@saint_seya
Right because graphics make DC the more fun game right? Oh wait, maybe it's the awesome muliplayer. Oh wait, maybe it's the hundreds of cars it has.
Graphics are the only thing that DC has on Forza5 or Forza Horizon.
It really doesn't matter if it runs at 1080p and 30fps on both consoles. Awesome sites like DF will compare the two, find blades of grass or rocks in the road that look better on PS4 then X1, and then we can have 20 articles as to better looking grass and rocks on the PS4. Or they will have a 50 car pileup and complain that the FPS dropped to 29 on X1 and ran steady 30 on PS4. There is no such thing as parity as everyone is always looking for the 1 small detail that makes them feel better...
I think as a culture we are getting to censored and too caught up in trying to be perfect. If you walked down the street, you would never tell a stranger you're going to rape, kill, murder, etc etc, them. But if your gaming, YOU know what you mean. You're not literally going to rape someone. Really what your meaning to say is your going to dominate them. Reality vs virtual are two separate worlds. Same thing with people crying over the football name Redskns, get over it. Name's be...
Until they come out with a true gaming system instead of gimmick, I won't own another Nintendo. N64, GameCube, SNES, all amazing in my opinion. Mario Kart games now feel beyond ridiculous. I loved the simplicity of the one for N64. Here's the track, here are the power-up's you get, go racing. Now there's so much sh*t going on during a race. Last I checked I can't play GTA, TLOU, Titanfall, Forza, Infamous, Halo, Sunset Overdrive, Diablo, just to name a few games, on the W...
I like how she picks it up and presses all the buttons at once, like the person who has no clue how to play fighting games and mashes every button imaginable.
Funny ad, but not sure that's going to move systems lol
Can someone explain what the purpose of the game is? Do you just walk around exploring? Shoot things? Solve puzzles/mysteries? Or do you just walk around in first person taking in the sights? I honestly don't know what the premise of the game is.
@frankie
Do you know what a fanboy is? Name one thing in my statement that was fanboyish. Oh that's right, nothing. Come on, don't try to justify the price tag because of your love for Sony. I bought a Sony blu-ray player shortly after the PS3 launched and paid $299. You're defending the PS3 price tag because it had a blu-ray player, but didn't every Sony fan cry about how the X1 wasn't geared towards gamers because it wanted to be a media device? Didn'...
Yea I'm not into indie games at all. Never bought one. I've played a couple and most of the time I feel like I'm playing cell phone games or something that should be on a super nintendo.
Titanfall
Sunset Overdrive
Forza Horizon 2
Halo: MCC
Those 4 games all got excellent reviews and have been the flagship games for the X1 this year. I think if you compare those to the 4 best PS4 AAA games, the X1 has them beat all day.
I'm not a fan of the PS4, but the X1 didn't exactly warrant a day one purchase either. I bought my X1 on day one but for a while there I was basically just playing Forza and BF. I don't think either system really warranted a purchase until this time of year. I'm not sure the PS4 has even warranted it's $400 price tag yet as there haven't been any "must have/wow" titles except for a remastered PS3 game. I don't think Sunset Overdrive warrants an X1 purchas...
So the PS3 warranted it's price tag because it had a blu-ray player, yet everyone yells, cries, and wet's themselves because the X1 had a tv tuner and wanted to be your "one" entertainment unit. My-oh-my aren't we being hypocritical. So if the blu-ray player justified the $600 PS3, then the Kinect justified the $500 X1. Everyone complained that Sony put gamers first and is all about games, yet you and the Sony brigade defend the PS3 because of a non-gaming function, a bl...
LOL these articles are ridiculous. Every product eventually gets a price cut. This black friday, the Samsung Galaxy S5 is on sale for $1 at Best Buy. If I bought it last week, it was $200. So should everyone who bought the phone in March/April now be asking Samsung for $199 credit on their phone bill? I bought the X1 Day One and it doesn't bother me one bit that the system is now $350. Eventually the PS4 will have a price cut too. I voluntarily purchased the system.

I really hope that for the next 8-10 years we can have articles like this for every game released. It never gets old. Every game over analyzed. Digital Foundry is the worst of the all. "In this cut scene, the X1 frame rate drops to 29 FPS but the PS4 is stable at 30." Mass hysteria can now begin.
Or, "X1 runs at 1079p while the PS4 is 1080p." The grass is much more dense and you can see more cracks in the street.
I had a PS3 for about 2 years, and the only games I had for it were LBP2 and MLB The Show. I played Uncharted, and although great, felt like Tomb Raider. Climbing walls, swinging on a pipe, just the whole action of traversing the environment felt scripted. I just like the exclusives from MS better to be honest. The controller, Live as a service, the UI, I prefer as well. And also, the Sony community has really left a bad taste in my mouth about the PS4. The pounding of the chest is really ann...
Right, because it's sooooo much work to click download then find something else to do for an hour and then come back and enjoy the game all day for free, then click 1 button on Sunday and delete it.
Wow, that does sound exhausting. Way to much effort to play something for free.
FH2 has gameplay that is unrivaled though. You would rather have the pretty but broken game Driveclub? Be my guest. I want to play and enjoy my games, not stare at "realistic" rain drops.
I didn't know the X1 was a failure and needed to be saved. Is it selling as well as the PS4? No. Is it as powerful as the PS4? No. Doesn't mean it's a failure and needs one game to sell the system. I bought mine back in November of 2013 and I'm not sorry for buying it. I love TF and Forza and the other multiplatform games available (Diablo, Madden, BF). This article is a bit of a stretch.
