Finally a real game, not some arcade trash. Now, I have no real desire to play Assassins Creed but its good to finally see a major release for free on the X1. Hopefully next month they continue with 2 games a month with 1 of them being a real title.
Would you rather get a couple "eh" games all year or blockbusters once a year? The only really good exclusive Sony put out this year was DB. The Order, The Show, LBP, Driveclub, none of those blew anyone away or had serious issues.
I don't know how Sony won E3 by showing future games. X1 showed backwards compatibility, a new controller, games coming THIS year and early next year, that Minecraft VR thing, and the Rare replay. I'm not sure how you top all of t...
I'll be honest, I don't even know where that screenshot was taken from (within the game) because I'm to busy playing and killing the other team, not looking out into the ocean. First time I fired up the BETA on the X1 I said "wow, those graphics look awesome and its 60fps." I instantly knew the graphics on the X1 were leaps better than the 360. But I hate these types of comparisons. Like when BF4 was released on the X1 and PS4, people were comparing the detail in a branc...
Funny, if Sony came out with backwards compatibility, every PS owner would be clamoring that the X1 should become a paperweight and Sony is king of the world.
But since it's on X1, it's not that important, remastered games are better, no one cares anymore, etc etc.
When these systems first came out, everyone cried about no backwards compatibility. Now it's there and no one cares because MS did it. Some real characters on here...
MS also showed AWESOME looking gameplay of Gears, Forza, Halo, Tomb Raider, not to mention the Rare collection which is 30 games for $30, backwards compatibility might cut down on every game being "remastered", an elite gaming controller, cool virtual reality demonstration.
Sony showed off pretty looking games, some which are WAY down the road. Sony this generation has a history of pretty games that don't live up to the gameplay expectations (Driveclub, The Orde...
Let's see, backwards compatibility is bigger than any feature Sony showed. Elite gaming controller is better than an old school paint scheme PS controller. A bunch of games on PS4 that aren't going to be coming out for a long time VS games that are coming out before the holiday season. Im not into Minecraft but that VR demonstration was better than any Sony peripheral demo. Let's not forget the rare collection which is 30 old school games for $30.
Sony showed som...
@gosukyomomma
So you'd rather spend another $60 on a game you already own because it looks prettier and runs a higher frame rate? If backwards compatibility was present back when the PS4 and X1 launched, you probably wouldn't get so many remastered titles. All everyone wanted was backwards compatibility when the new systems were launched. X1 took the first steps in making that happen, good for them. Now I can sell my 360 and get some cash for it.
My god you sound ridiculous. Like calm down and hide your boner, it's a video game. If you win the lottery, go nuts. But it's a game.
The only PS game I'd be interested in from Sony would be Uncharted and FF.
At the same time, the X1 has more I was interested in. Gears 4, Halo 5, Forza 6, Rare Collection, backwards compatibility. And supposedly Crackdown is supposed to get shown off (not sure).
Everyone has a personal preference what types of games they like. I more of a first/third person action shooter, racing games, and classics.
I'd have to say gamers are less skilled today. People complain DS is too hard. Realistic racing games are too hard. I've even heard Skyrim is too big and too much to do. I have a friend who plays every game on easy because "it's more fun than having to work at it".
I remember back when Rainbow Six was big. I loved that game because there were no health packs. No medic to revive you. You couldn't just hide behind a wall and get your health back. 1/2/3...
Do we really need another Need For Speed? Another COD? BF Hardline is basically BF but with cops and robbers. Forza 6 is just like Forza 5 but with some improvements. Uncharted 4 is similar to Uncharted 3 (in terms of puzzles, climbing, things of that nature). Should they make DS3 first person and give you an easy setting and bring guns into the gameplay? Every sequel borrows from the past games and builds upon it. So yes, DS3 is more than welcome.
I bought a 1TB HD on Amazon for like $50. Games seem to load a little quicker, but maybe that's just me thinking the HD helps lol. The matte finish is what I like because the glossy is kind of a pain to keep clean. You also have to think eventually the system itself will slim down.
Just because it's free doesnt mean it's good. If they gave you Britney's Dance Beat for free, still going to be happy about a free game?
Are we ever going to get a "real" free game on the X1? Ryse, Forza 5, Dead Rising? I mean those games are old and pretty cheap to buy right now. Why keep giving us this indie/arcade crap? PS gets real games and we get Pool Nation for the 3rd straight month and some poop filled arcade game. How is it that the 360 gets Thief, yet the X1 doesn't? I thought they were released at the same time.
Either way, another disappointing month for games with gold. I know, I kn...
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand simple logic. If one console is selling better than the other console, clearly the game is going to sell more copies on the system that has sold better.
Multiplatform games are going to always sell better on the PS4 because the user base is greater than the X1's. I have an X1 and I don't care if a game sells better on one system or the other. As long as you can play it, who cares.
Unfortunately, if you are part of something that is supposed to be kept quiet, you have to keep it quiet.
The new Camaro is being released this Saturday. Can you imagine what would happen to one of the GM employees if they leaked pictures of the car? They would be fired and possibly sued.
Maybe these people had to sign a non-disclosure agreement. You know, all that crap you don't read and just click "accept". You are paying for Xbox Live as well...
OK, a baseball exclusive doesn't really count because they own the rights to the MLB licensing. Nintendo, MS, no one besides Sony can make a baseball game using real player names and teams. I believe Halo 5, Quantum Break, Forza 5 all scheduled for the fall. That Scalebound game (no interest in it though) and a Gears sometime in the near future. Pretty solid lineup.
After infamous came out, how long was it until you got another exclusive? Was it LBP? The X1 last year had Titanfall, FH2, Sunset Overdrive, Halo Collection (feel like I'm forgetting one). ALL scored great, so explain the "xboxonehasnogames". Besides Bloodbourne and TLOU, what exclusive does Sony have to hang it's hat on? It's certainly not Driveclub or The Order. The difference between the multiplats is barely noticeable, so you should buy a system you like and take oth...
"Why would a person go for the X1 version, when they can go for the better looking PS4 version at the same price?"
"Unfortunately for Microsoft, the X1 doesn't have that many exclusives."
I bought an X1 because I don't like the Playstation, the games, or the controller. I like the exclusives on X1 better, the controller, Live, I actually use my Kinect for Skype and not having to wear a headset when playing online, and majority of my friends...
Am I the only person who see's barely any difference? I mean, the screenshots are so similar.
