I've been reading alot on this site. I understand that people want their console of choice to come in first, from a numbers & sales standpoint. Usually, the most sales ensures that console the best titles. [Wii may be an exception] I for one favor my PS3, not Sony, but PS3. I've got nothing against MS,I actually plan on buying ANOTHER 360 in the near future. [had one at launch] But let's be for real here. No matter which finishes first in sales, neither of the three are going to just...
Thank You, so much! From the little bit of time I had to mess around so far, Home seems to be everything that Sony invisioned! Thanks, once again. I'm sorry that I don't have that Wipeout HD, that you're looking for. I'll ask around for you.
If anyone wants to help me get in home, my psn id & n4g is the same thing. poet215 Thank You in advance
Almost all the excitement I had towards home is damn near gone. This was due out fall '07, we're about to hit 2009. No beta invite for me at all. G.A.P. member since '02, I downloaded the theme months ago, still no invititation. At this point, I'll mess around with it, when it's finally released. But, until that time comes, I'm so tired of hearing about it. Although I'm glad Sony is taking their time & trying to release it with all the bugs already worked out. Maybe I was a little ...
I don't put it past EA to charge us for certain players or rosters on upcoming sports games. Who would really be surprised if EA charged for the free agents pool in Madden? Or boxing legends in Fight Night?
Need For Speed alone has over $60 worth of DLC on PSN. I'm not even going to get on the other games on there this week. That's the price of the game itself!!! A gen or two back, all that stuff would've been unlockable. This is a horrible trend, that probably needs to be stopped before it really gets out of hand. After paying $60 + tax for a new game, I don't feel like gamers should have to dish out more $$$$ just to use different guns, skins etc. As far as used game sales go, I totally ...
Sorry, double post
I agree with alot of what you're posting, but.......C'mon Buddy, you may as well write a book lol.......that post was too long. lol
Preach on!!! I totally agree with you. Online is great for some games, but hinders some also. When I was a teen, owning both SNES & Genesis was a very good situation to be in. The Best of both gaming worlds. Aside from some questionable business tactics overall, Microsft & Sony competing should be considered a good thing. Owning both consoles, means you get to play more great games.
In my opinion, Final Fantasy 7 does not need to be remade. That game was more than revolutionary....over 10 years ago. I played it, ended it & savored every moment along the way....but still, I'd much rather see something new keep my attention. RPG's stories are their selling points. I won't be surprised or as captivated in the story as I was the first time around. I'd rather have a new story that keeps me gripping the controller, anxiously awaiting the next plot twists & turns. ...
I was about 12, games were hard but they just took a lil' practice & good timing.
I was able to beat some of these games as a 13yr old, back in 1990. I remember finishing TMNT. That game was easier than than TMNT arcade game, that later released. Bionic Commando, on the other hand...I only beat it by not leaving the intro stage & constantly leveling up my experience until I had at least 8 energy squares. Rygar was another tough game that required mad leveling up experience & energy. Blaster Master definitely belongs on that list & Renegade also. As far as ...
I remember Metal Gear having me stumped sometimes over what to do next......and when I was wondering around in the wannabe woods that keep repeating, I still remember the way out left, left, up, left.....those were the days!
That was funny!!! Bubbled up.
I remember Genesis hitting the market a year earlier than super nintendo. SNES came out late 1991. That entire first year Genesis went up against Nes(Nes was king at the time) Sega ads said Genesis does, what nintedon't. Basically, SNES & Genesis were both very successfull & on par with each other. Sega had the better sports titles, by far & Nintendo clearly had the better adventure/action/RPG/Racing games.
I definitely agree with U! I'm ready to see a diverse library such as PS1 & PS2's were. The hell with all these FPS games. Enough already! Maybe I'm old school, but I'm starving for some good ol' adventure games. Action & RPG's also.
First off, I don't intend to offend anyone. Secondly, I've been a member here for over a year, I hardly ever post. Maybe I'm from the video game golden era or something, but things just don't seem right anymore. I grew up playing classic action/adventure/rpg games: Rygar, Metal Gear, Goonies 2, Zelda, Metroid, Bionic Commando, Sonic, almost every game you can mention from Castlevania to Super Mario Bros. I had most of the systems, NES, SNES & Genesis. Great games are great games, no matte...
I've owned a 60 gig PS3 since launch day. I had an 360 Core on it's launch day, I sold the core later that same day. I still enjoy Xbox 1 & PS2, but I'm willing to say that I'm definitely pro playstation. But, recently after walking into a gamestop.....I realized that 360 got this round. There are just so many more games available for the 360. I mean, PS3 has games, but no where near the amount of 360. For 360 only to have a 1 year head start, the disparity is just way too big. Tha...
I started visiting this site regularly, in June 2007. It was so informative. Now this place is overun with worthless articles. Majority of the stuff posted is either opinion, or some type of speculation. Too often these aren't even from someone pertinent in the video game industry. Can someone please bring back the real game news? Please???
I'm an owner of a lauch day 60gb PS3 & I don't have KZ2. I believe it's a great game, but I've never enjoyed playing FPS's. I'd much rather have a good RPG or Adventure game. I also think, that Sony has spent the 1st couple years of PS3 trying to replicate the 360 & PC with the overload of shooters. Perhaps, Sony is a few years to late with this game as well. Sometimes, you can have the best product, but if you're too late to join the party............well, you know.
