Big time corporations (ei: Microsoft & Sony) have people brainwashed for real. Folks argue & fight tooth & nail, over sales as if it's really significant to our daily lives.
Announcing a game that's 2-3 years away from being released??? That's fine & dandy, but I could care less for that whole process. I like being informed of upcoming games, but hyping stuff up, that far in advance is a bit too much for me.
what platform(s) is the new Castlevania game schedule for?
@Jason 360:
some of you on here spend more time worrying over sales than actually playing the games. I know that the most sales brings in many advantages, as far as being the lead platform on multiplats and stuff like that.....but c'mon, too many of you dudes on here pull the sales card way too fast....and it works both ways.....some fellow PS3 supporters always jump the gun to mention how sales are picking up & this and that.......let it be....let the chips fall where they ...
Is there a Yakuza demo within the PS Store? I, don't remember seeing it.
Since day one, I've owned a 60gb launch model & I couldn't be more content to have it!
What game are you talking about when, you abbreviate SotC?...thanks
Hey, not to be rude at all, but why does everyone beg for a FF7 remake? That game came out in 97'.......as good and groundbreaking as it was, I played through it years ago. Enjoyed my experiences with it, but it's finished....it may still be fun, but there won't be any surprise factor playing through that game again............why not move on to something different???.......just asking.
For crying out loud, why do people on here keep creating accounts that are either impersonating someone or something in this industry? From execs at Sony, to execs at Microsoft, or VG Charts or NPD, etc......the list goes on. Be for real folks.
I prefer 360 over the Wii as well. Perhaps if the Wii had an option to use a more traditional controller, I would dig it. To my knowledge, you're only allowed to use that regular controller for playing the retro games. I'm too old school or maybe I'm too set in my ways to enjoy playing a Zelda/Mario game with a motion controller. C'mon, that don't even sound right!.....truthfully, Nintendo pissed me off when the Metroid franchise went from an action/adventure type RPG to a 1st person shoo...
I tried to give an honest open opinion of MS the other day and I got nothing but disagrees......lol.....it's probably some of the younger crowd that's not old enough to have experienced gaming in the so called golden era. I'm 32yrs old, I remember how it felt playing an 8-bit NES for the first time after years of a 2600...lol...lol.....some of us have literally seen gaming grow from a niche hobby to what it is 2day.
......some of my thoughts from a comment, that I posted the other day: (Whereas when Nintendo & Sega fought it out, and during Sony's reign......those companies broke ground in pushing gaming forward with the innovating ideas. For some strange reason, I think MS is more than ok with holding back progress just as long as they reap the benefits)
I've owned a launch 60gb PS3 from day 1, back in 2006. Had PS2 at it's launch back in 2000. However, I didn't leave Nintendo for PS1 until it was almost 5 years old. Except for buying an N64, I was sticking with Super Nintendo/Genesis till the end of that era. I still own an original Xbox and enjoy it's games that I missed out on while I was in love with my PS2. I have nothing against Xbox, I just prefer Playstation 1st. I had a launch 360, but sold it off to a friend later that same day. Fig...

I thought I was the only one taking notice to it also......Addition...(Edition) ......Lol..Lol..
I was lucky enough to get a launch 360 core back in Nov 2005. I got home about 10:00am, I swear I was calling around to sell it by early afternoon. It kept freezing on me. I had a serious hunch that something wasn't right with it. I sold it to a friend for only what I had dropped on it in bestbuy earlier($580). [core system, 2 games, wireless controller] But also, due to me not yet having an HDTV at the time, on standard TV it didn't impress me that much. I should say that neither does ...
Hey, does anyone have any realistic idea on how much it's going to cost? (US Dollars) I bought a lauch 60gb, day one. Does Sony plan on stripping anymore features also? Or did they just find a way to manufacture the entire machine a little cheaper?
Hiphopgamer, keep doing your thing. Some get too uptight and wound up over this gaming industry. There are far other serious issues that need to be addressed out there. Your show is pretty good, needs work, but is still decent...especially when you factor in many things. Shows on TV, have huge budgets & staff who are connected throughout the industry. I'm not sure if you have either. That being said, I think you're doing an excellent job, working with what you have. You seem to be ...
forget valve and forget their First Person Shooters. That genre is killing games as a whole.
@cmrbe:
Well the comment was one of those "if it applies to you" kind of comments. If you're mature enough to have interest in sales of the console race and all that good stuff, but you don't let it get out of perspective....then I'm happy for you. I would say that I'm pro Sony. I enjoy MS machine, I don't care for their tactics at all though. MS is all out when it comes to bringing their customers good games, but I think they're more than content too hold back prog...
