between the media & people, in general....you guys spread rumors and bad info like it's nothing to it. I have Skyrim on PS3...played to the tune of 190+ hours....finished the main quest at level 62. Yeah, it has it's bugs....but from what I can tell is....the bugs are riddled on xbox as well. Take a look at an elderscrolls wiki & view any quest, you'll see all the different bugged scenarios for each platform (including PC too) To me it seems as if Bethesda sh*tted on PS...
4 - 6 weeks within that Black Friday window is definitely my cut off time, for purchasing any game. In 2007, I purchased NBA 2K8 for $64 (tax included).....less than 2 weeks later, it was Black Friday & on sale for $27. I was sick
I do not own a vita, may get one in the future...I bought a psp back in 2005 & what killed the thrill for me was when I bought Madden 06 for my ps2 @ $50 + tax and also purchased Madden 06 for my psp @ about $35....I felt like I had to buy games two times to enjoy the handheld market. I'm old now, I was 12 years old when I had an original game boy back in 1989. The times & the handheld market has grown & evolved in a huge way since then. I feel like if they could devise a w...
In my home, there is one PS3 & two xbox 360's. I bought my sons (8 & 5) a new slim 360 & I now have their older elite. I have one game on 360, The Witcher 2. I own over 50 games on PS3. ( I refuse to trade in expensive games for pennies) I am a launch day PS3 owner...I remember that rough year of 2007 (especially here on this site) lol. I enjoy online gaming on PS3 and see nothing wrong with it. If I could improve anything, it would be the user interface & responsive...
I also have it own both consoles....smh. Lol. I played my first call of duty game with black ops (ps3) I game on ps3, my sons play xbox 360. This keeps my games & controllers clean, lol. I will be trying out mw3 on their 360, this Sunday morning with them. I will look to see for myself if it plays smoother on 360.
This is something I posted here 1,105 days ago lol
in respects to bioshock & all other hyped FPS's
First off, I don't intend to offend anyone. Secondly, I've been a member here for over a year, I hardly ever post. Maybe I'm from the video game golden era or something, but things just don't seem right anymore. I grew up playing classic action/adventure/rpg games: Rygar, Metal Gear, Goonies 2, Zelda, Metroid, Bionic Commando, Sonic, almost every gam...
As some others already eluded to in this thread......I hope this forces Game Stop to significantly lower the prices on used games from now on. $5 difference between new & used is not good enough for me. Not that I'm trying to save an unfair amount, but more so....that store will give you $20 for a game which costs you $59.99 & sell it for $54.99. Let alone, sell an open copy of game at a new price (if you let them get away with it). I know it's a business and their in it t...
Yeah, man....you're right about that. I'm 33yrs old. Been playing since Atari 2600 & Nes. I still have Snes, Genesis, N64, Dreamcast & Xbox to this day. I'm a gamer. This generation has the most to offer us gamers from the tech side of things & it saddens me that, the execs of the industry aren't allowing us to enjoy it in it's entirety. I was so stoked as a teen, reading about X-Band. X-Band was a device that was supposed to allow online gaming...back i...
My co-workers & I have plenty of free time while at work some days. These days, there is a 360 in the break room. At night (2nd shift) is when mostly everyone is under 30 & they play that 360 religiously. Yesterday, someone was bashing PS3, saying how there are no games on it. I'm like, wow.....dudes are still saying that? And if you were on NG4 summer 2007, you'll remember how Bloodmask, Mart, Bladestar & many others were trashing PS3 so much. why do folks hate a machine ...

@ Cenobia above^^^^: $15, that's even worse...exactly why I try not to fuel their sales with my money. I have 25 PS3 games, 3 of which were bought on launch day. I've bought some stinkers @ super cheap prices. You definitely get what you pay for. I had taken a chance on games like Conan, Enchanted Arms, Spider Man 3....which were priced @ $12-$15 brand new for a reason. Lol..Lol...None bought @ GS. I refuse to buy any used games from them. I bought 4 games when they ran that $1...
^^^^^^ I agree 100%!!! A new game is $59.99, I'm cool with that that. How is that same game used $54.99? When most likely the trade in value given to the customer was probably $20-$25.
@ DXM1: that was super funny!!! you shut shadoosh down from start to finish!! Emphasis on te "doosh"....lol...lol ....down to sounded out your gamertag!!..lol...lol...bubble up!!
my only gripe, is the connection quality when online. I have the fastest comcast internet available, & I'm quite sure others have pretty fast internet also. With net speed & quality much better now than it was just years ago, why is it that the online game seems to be regressing rather than advancing......choppy, lag in the game play is what keeps me offline with it....some games online flow smoothly, but far too many are plagued with slowdown. I don't expect the button res...
Umb....you beat me to the punch! N4G was full of Xbox360 fanatics....Summer of 2007 is when I joined this site. If you supported PS3, back then.....you were ridiculed & made fun of constantly....I've never even heard of the term fan boy until then.....they tried to make you feel ashamed for having a PS3...lol...lol...
Perhaps my math is off...at $60 per copy, is that about $90 million in profits???....lol...wow, I know games take a nice chunk of change to produce, but how do you not make any money off a $90 million profitable project??....lol p.s. given that all copies weren't sold @ $60, they may not have made 90mil, but I'm willing to bet that they at least made anywhere between 50 - 70 million, which is still good for a game that early into a console's life cycle. In Aug '07, I'm curious as to how man...
I haven't been online since last night. If there was a system update between then & now, I'm unaware of it. I powered up my launch 60gb, but I didn't attempt to sign into PSN. I went back to finally finish Oblivion, & the game loaded & played ok. Should I be wary of trying PSN?
I am a 32yr old gamer. Been playing since Atari & Nes. I grew up on Genesis & Snes. When Playstation started being the new "it", I was very, very reluctant to jump ship from Nintendo. In fact, I didn't get a PSOne until early 1999. Since then, I'm really happy with Sony being the market leader, so to speak. I had a Dreamcast (for a few months). PS2 & PS3 were launch purchases for me. A friend convinced me to get an Xbox360 on launch day, back in Nov. 05. Mind you...
Target's pricing can actually vary from store to store. Something priced at $15 in one store, may very well be $30 in a different store. My cousin has a corporate position with the company, and she was explaining it to me how during the holidays, a particular Christmas tree was priced on a $40 differential between stores & how customers were trying to get refunded the difference, but being denied....lol
In the past, I used to steer clear of FPS games. (check my comment history) I really enjoyed MW3, especially after I got good enough to call in kill streaks lol. Blops 2, let me down so much, I went back & gave BF3 another chance.....love BF3 now!! Totally different experience for me, from COD. Don't see myself going back. Not saying I wouldn't try another infinity ward COD, but as to which style of game I prefer....it's definitely the BF3 type of game...I'm sorry that...
