You do realise that simple 35mm film (found in disposable cameras) is already equal to 13 megapixels which already exeeds 4k resolution of 3840 × 2160 or 8.3 megapixels. I won't go into details when we use 70mm which is for Imax.

Depends though, early adopters of the PS3 were treated with the best PS3 model that had a great resell value. The same could be said with the Wii with the eventual removal of GC playback and controller ports.
Personally I'd buy my stuff early, because the price drops of things aren't worth my time...but having said that the Software available is perhaps the biggest selling point.

Thank god they didn't, no point on having an orphan service. Instead they're putting Sony's 'Reader Store' instead, much better service and universal across many devices out side of Playstation.
There is virtually no lag between the PS3 and Vita other than the time it takes for the radio signal to be sent if you use Ad-hoc. The Wii U is exactly that: a slave controller to a host system via Ad-hoc, it's as low as any bluetooth controller.
What will have too much latency for any serious gameplay is if you pair over the internet, in that case there is no comparison since we're talking in the realms of home console vs cloud computing, rather than PS3/Vita vs Wii ...
