It costs that much just to get 4 regular controllers, one of the reasons I teach my kids to share. I have yet to see anything that says natal or move can be used by more 2 people at once. How many people can you get flapping their arms around in your living room anyway?
A 'full' game for EyeToy. It tracked full body movement that was reflected in your onscreen avatar. Not sure if you could see the bottom of the avatars feet though.

Insomniac can make a PS3 game and get EA to port it to the 360. Works for me.
Something you fail to see in your astute hypothesis is that 3D tvs are not only going to be sold and marketed to gamers. The fact that the PS3 will have 3D gaming is just a bonus. The main focus of 3D is the movies and television, like the World Cup.
Btw I did buy an Eyetoy but felt and looked like a fool waving my arms around in the air. My kids love it though. But they are all under 5.

You made some good points but I just an to clarify something you said about the switch to HDTV in 2009. All that is happening is that all broadcast are going digital. This means that you will no longer be able to pick up tv stations on your tv's 'rabbit ears' on your SDTV. If you have digital cable or satalite you will still get channels for your SDTV as your cable/satalite box converts a digital signal into analog signal that a SDTV can handle.
