Could not agree more. I got my PS4 at launch for $399 luckily. But I have not and will not pay $70, more like $80 with tax, on any game. They will all go on sale eventually.

I play games to do stuff I cant do in real life. Kill dragons, fly spaceships, shoot obnoxious teens in the face ect. Sex I can do in real life.

Except the original ps3 had a great upscaler. Ff xii, Rouge Galaxy and other games that came out for PS2 around that time looked amazing on the PS3.
But why put in backward compatibility when you can resell your old titles at marked up prices? Its not like your going piss off your original customer base who have been buying PS games for almost 20 years and now never buy new games and simply wait for the inevitably price drop or PS+ 'freebie'.
As someone who owns a crappy pc the ps4 version looks and plays far better. Not to mention video capture and streaming if thats your thing. All for $400. And With remote play I can do my daily trail roulette while dropping my own coil.

i've been waiting to pick this up, hoping for a ps4 version, but then again i wait for most games. Why pay $60 or $70 CDN when in 4 months it will be $30. The games not going any where.

I know its part of the games charm but they did fix the badly translated dialog in the PSOne releases of the old Nes/Snes FF games.

you cannot quantify the quality of a game based on the amount it cost to make. If this was the case Star Wars the old republic would be the best game ever made and John Carter would have been on of the best movies ever made. Clearly in both cases that it untrue.
The PS Now game list just pisses me off. I own quite a few of the titles and would love to have the convenience to play them on my PS4. But I'm not going to pay for them again. So for now it's just PS no.
Let me pay a monthly fee for full access and I might be interested. But the games I have not played are not to outrageously priced just to rent.
