Because From Software games score really well, pretty much all these complaints could be applied to The Surge, a game scorning in the 70’s and ...... crickets.
People think they’re missing out and get bruised egos when they can’t beat them.
If games have an easy option then go for it if you like, fill your boots, if it doesn’t people need to deal with it.
Souls games are more unforgiving than hard, if you assume every enemy you meet for the first time has the ability to ruin your day and stand off a second and learn the attacks then you’ll end up being fine.
Assume you can run in and just attack, chances are you’ll have a bad time and end up online crying about it.
Nah, the whole git gud thing came in response to all the whining, if they’re wasn’t any whining then it would make absolutely zero sense.
I really don’t know why people can’t wrap their heads around that the games being difficult/unforgiving is a design choice, people are supposed to learn from their mistakes and if mistakes mean death then you have to learn, if people think that’s a poor design, or if it bores or frustrates them then the games aren’t for them.

It doesn’t affect anybody, it’s just not an option, those who don’t like FPS games can’t select third person view in Halo.

Doesn’t matter the devs never wanted to make the game that way, people are within their right to demand that are they.
So the group crying for an easy option the developers didn’t want to put in the game are being reasonable but the group saying play it the way it was made need to grow up,

They are getting swallowed up at the moment
One group is asking for a mode the devs never intended to be an option, the other group isn’t asking any devs to take easy modes away that are options in other games.
Which side is really being unreasonable.
