Would admire their integrity if they stuck to their guns, but the most likely scenario is they get a naughty boy slap on the wrist and let off for selling them all.
Sounds like an empty threat to me, if the same thing happens and all retailers say F it and the pre orders go at the snap of fingers what are they gonna do, cut supplies to everyone and try and sell them all themselves.
That’s cutting your nose off to spite your face if I’ve ever seen it.
Effort.
It’s dishonest at best, could easily have said some games will be cross gen while the PS5 will also launch with PS5 only titles, clear, truthful and still better than the MS launch line up.
He clearly kept it to himself on purpose.
Personally think they handled the pre orders in a dickish kinda way, but it’s worked, everyone is in a frenzy scrambling to find one.
They’ve released 3 exclusives since March, they might not be your thing, Animal Crossing is a bore imo but it’s still a critically acclaimed game that sold in barrow loads.
Xenoblade and Paper Mario being the others, their first party games almost never go on sale this is accurate, however they do hold their value quite well.
For example a quick check on Game in the UK has the 3 year old BOTW getting you £33 store credit or £29.70 cash.
Forgot about racist JD.
People have literally been saying resolution will be the only difference, that’s already confirmed as false, hence the chink in the armour.
Crystal ?
Well that chink in the armour didn’t take long.
The weaker system will always reach its limits first, don’t need to be a tech expert or developer to realise that.
Common sense and a couple of brain cells to rub together will suffice.
Yes and No.
Nobody would have enjoyed the gen less if they never surfaced but at the same time the originals weren’t capable of trying to take advantage of people buying 4K TV’s.
Whatever happens going forward the Series S will hit a wall first.
Once this gen gets left behind the Series S will be the lowest common denominator and that will always hold things back a little.
Do people think the mid gen upgrades were for shits and giggles.
They were locked in a stand off and MS blinked first, again.
People that think 4K @60fps with ray tracing is going to be the new standard are in for a rude awakening.
Sorry, ain’t happening.
If this has only been in development since 2018ish then there’s absolutely no chance it was ever making a 2020 release.
Sounds like damage control, can’t see anybody promising a flagship game like Halo that has to run across generations to be ready in that time frame.
Obviously the correct call, but all the Xbox guys said it was just the lighting, a really old build and the magic ray tracing patch would fix everything.
Eh well yes, if the game was developed with a gtx 1080ti as the base then it would’ve looked even better, is this really that confusing.
Was thinking more the running at 120fps.
The MS store is still showing availability for the Series X as of like 5mins ago, dunno if it’ll last but if anybody’s still looking, I’m in the UK.

Go through this link and select Series X form Microsoft store.
