Well sales being “cannibalised” sure was a negative when it came to purchasing Activision.
Why are MS complaining about something that’s apparently a goal, could it possibly be that it’s ever so slightly more important than you’re making out.

All that really means is that all those PC players that could have subscribed to the “best deal in the history of gaming” to play the game said “nah bro we’re good” and chose to buy elsewhere.

Game releases under normal sales circumstances and gets poorly received, it doesn’t sell well, improvements are sought after.
Same game gets released and GP fanatics eat it up because it’s “free” it gets praised as a success despite being poor.
Who’s to blame for Xbox getting molly whopped world wide for years then, bet it was the nargles.

If Redfall was in development for PS5 then it was taken away, well MS spent billions acquiring the studios it’s entirely up to them, that’s the way the mop flops, the way the cookie crumbles etc etc.

Just got a PS5, extra has Returnal, Demons Souls and Miles Morales, that alone made it worth it for me, been hooked on Returnal, barely even looked at the others yet.
Anybody that thinks MS will pump limitless resources into gaming forever without decent profits is a bit of a simpleton.
