Nope, ridiculous both times...and it's the same people doing it...
Last gen the numbers on paper were smaller, but in practice were MUCH MUCH MUCH more noticeable. This gen the noticeable differences are tiny...being that the picture is more refined..you actually notice less. It's like comparing a buckets of rocks vs comparing buckets of sand.
Either way, this gen or last gen it was ridiculous.....so doing it this gen is just as dumb as it was last gen. The sad thing is being that, that kind of behavior has really nothing to do games a...
I've done the same on my 65" 1080p and now 75" 4k TV. People telling me there is a huge difference are telling me they WANT to think it's huge and/or they don't know
The problem is your definition of "best version" You've confused that with version with the highest res...NOT the same thing...esp being that you usually have to be told which is which to even know.
I have both console and can play multiplats on either, for me NEVER EVER EVER has the PS4 has the "best" version of a multiplat game I cared about. That notion always dies as soon as we start talking about controllers, UI, community, network, achievement ...

Didn't play DOA5, but Batman ran perfectly for me, so I'm not sure what you mean. In fact the biggest difference in performance this gen seems to be Fallout 4 which actually favors X1. X1 had some specific issues at specific spots (that is clearly a bug), yet More often than not in times of action the PS4 version runs about 10fps lower.
It was stupid then too, but at least then you could see the differences without looking at them side by side, freeze-framed etc. I get that PS has a higher Res if there is a difference...but that doesn't happen all that often...and even less often does it really amount to anything. There are so many aspects to gaming that ANY ONE of them is more important than the graphical differences we have seen this gen...in fact simply changing my tv made TONS more difference than any difference I...

What sources? Are you talking about PS4 selling 5k more consoles in UK?
As stated above, the stats are Games attach ratios, number of hours played, and paid online service renewals...also as stated above...I didn't say I had an article that proved that...no such thing exists for either console, it'd be impossible....I just said that those stats lend themselves to say that. They are all stats that deal with how much people enjoy/use the console they have.
If people that say MS is working harder say they own both, maybe you should listen. P...
The part that was impressive to me was the number of hours played online stats....Up nearly 200% from last year. ...so not one time over last year for double the amount of play, but essentially 3xs.

Actually I don't really care at all. X1 is already successful, and will continue to grow and be successful. It's already a great console and getting better constantly. I was mostly just making fun of the fact that Patcher is wrong about nearly everything he says.

Compared to hopes and expectations...yes, however SW Battlefront isn't exactly a horrible game....just with all the other heavy hitters there's really no reason to jump in.

Definitely one of my most anticipated games.
My opinion is that Fallout is a much better game, it fits my style better.
