It was an awesome show, I'm really looking forward to Fallout and Dishonored...but saying they "won" the show...nah.
It's nuts that there are SOOOOO many games that I need to play, but honestly it seems like Fallout 4 by itself could keep me busy for years....definitely getting that one and dishonored. The funny thing is that running on X1 in the demo it actually looked better than the screenshots

This game is AWESOME, if you haven't picked it up yet...get it.
I'm looking forward to Horizon, Hearing more about what Sucker Punch is working on, and I'd play Last Guardian, but honestly I don't think Sony can "win" this year unless they have something EXTREMELY major up their sleeve. So far this just doesn't appear to be their year...maybe next year.

Not to mention how people crapped all over Occulus/MS (and conveniently assumed that the device will ONLY stream games that weren't designed for Vr...despite the two separate articles on Xbox wire and the demo of Project Irdies with Occulus). FPS is FAR FAR FAR more important that native 1080p vs 900p EVEN IF the whole game was one or the other...which isn't the case here at all. Bet money if you walked into a room where someone was playing witcher 3 you couldn't tell if it was the PS4 or X1 version..NO WAY...and IF you knew it was the X1 version cause someone told you...you couldn't tell if what you were looking at was a native 1080p scene or native 900p scene.
I agree with the core of what you said, but not really the way you went about it. True, it appears that the PS4 version went for full 1080p...probably due to the PR hype and trying to show it's "more powerful" but it appears that the X1 version was on to something....the FPS is great on the X1 version and you can never tell which scenes are native 1080 and which are native 900...that variable res thing was a great idea.
Yeah they should have done the variable res version like X1. No FPS issues there, and no one can tell which scenes are 1080 and which are 900 native. Game looks and play gorgeously. I'm constantly impressed with this game...so many great looking environments and for an open world game there's very few glitches ...and so far all the quests/hunts have been great...not just fetch missions.
It wasn't NEARLY the "fiasco" people pretend it was.

Horizon and Sucker punch games could be good...I'm excited for those, but even if everything on that list gets announced Sony still bows out this year IMO.
Really it's about gamers winning or losing...but I see your point. So far all the CONFIRMED stuff from the MS camp is already tons better than everything even rumored to be coming from the Sony side of the house this year. This game went from not being on my radar at all to, must have (about a month ago or something). I'm really looking forward to this game.

This quote actually shows how stupid people are being about the whole thing. It's not like Game of thrones is re-filmed with you in the center seat with a 360 camera. Occulus and HoloLens are actually the two better devices...not to mention the amount of fanboys that ...despite all the evidence...
New IPs isn't something exclusive to Sony, nor does Sony do this the most....so YES we all love new IPs no matter who does them..but choosing this as a reason as to WHY you love Sony seems to be a false assumption.
@Mezati99 below.....yeah I totally agree, this game has a ton of potential. This game and UC4 are EASILY my most anticipated PS4 games (I'm also interested in what Sucker Punch is working on)
Yeah, hopefully they all do, but MS has already announced enough stuff to know I'll be excited for their show. Sony hadn't really said anything to get excited for yet.
