Some of us can actually form our own opinion. We don't need Sony to tell us what we need or dont need in a videogame console.
I bought a 60GB PS3 after the price drop last year in August at the same time I got my Samsung 1080P HDTV. I bought 300 on Blu-Ray. I tried to give Sony the benefit of the doubt with putting Blu-Ray in every PS3.
Ya the picture was nice. But it wasn't all that. Certainly couldn't justify paying $2,000.00 for a 40" TV and $25.00 - $35....
I watch DVD's on my Xbox 360 too. I have a Pro model I bought 10 months ago hooked up with an HDMI cable. The drive is quiet as can be too. No issues here. Not worried about any risk.
I moved my old DVD player to the bedroom once I got my new 40" Samsung 1080P LCD HDTV. So as far as I am concerned the 360 does a fine job and unlike my old DVD player can actually upscale movies.
Don't worry though before I bought the new 360 I had my old PS3 upscaling DVD mov...

Your right the PS3 is outselling the 360. It's also costing Sony more money than Microsoft. See unlike Sony, Microsoft is making money in it's gaming division. Thats even with the Zune hurting it's overall numbers.
On the other hand the PS3 is bleeding Sony Computer Entertainment so badly it wipes out any positive numbers from the PSP and PS2.

That 1 Billion RROD charge was for the end of Fiscal Year 2007. So Fiscal Year 2008 which just ended does not include that.

You can say that FF13 will come on multiple discs, it won't be as good as the PS3 version, 360 owners in Japan aren't getting it, it won't get ported till FF13 is released in Japan, etc...
Bottom line is FF13 is coming to the 360 in the US and EU markets.

If he said it was only possible with "1" disc because of the Blu-Ray drive in PS3 that would have been accurate. But he said it was only "possible" on the PS3. I don't buy that for a sec. It would be like Microsoft saying Gears of War is only possible on the 360. I thought it was a good game. It took me a while to get used to not trying to use the right thumbstick for the camera. I played half the damn demo without ever switching to the upgraded weapons I found. But once I started using the better weapons and upgrading the skills it was fun. It has some Diablo type elements mixed into the gameplay.
The graphics aren't as bad as some people say. I'm sorry but you won't see graphics like these on any last generation games. Maybe it's not...
