But it makes no sense to spend that kind of money. I mean they were prepared to spend between 40-50 billion to aquire Yahoo. But that didnt make financial sense either.
Better to do what Sony did and slowly aquire developers or create your own.
Edit: Wow I have a bubble stalker. If your going to hit disagree at least have the courage to say why.
I know that both Microsoft and Sony have loyal developers that will talk up thier console. I also know that with my own 2 eyes that I haven't seen a game on the 360 that couldn't be done on the PS3 and vice versa. These pissing contests are getting quite old.
The bottom line is the best games will be made by the best developers. It's why games like Gears, BioShock, Mass Effect, Uncharted, MGS4, and GT5P look significantly better than other games. Both consoles have thier streng...
So the answer to your question is no.
The reason I bought my PS3 last year was so I could have Blu-Ray and videogames in 1 package. Blu-Ray for the wife. Videogames for me.
Same reason my younger brother bought a PS3 last Christmas. He saw 300 on Blu-Ray and Super Rub a Dub/Warhawk at my apartment and that was all he needed to upgrade from his PS2.
My sister wanted a Blu-Ray player to match her 1080P HDTV. I convinced her to get a PS3 a few weeks ago. She's not even a gamer and has bought 2 games for...
The Dreamcast version with it's shoulder triggers rocked. Man I was unbeatable with LuLu :p
Well where I live GameCrazy gives me more trade in value. So to each thier own. I can actually call GameCrazy and they will quote me right over the phone too.

Seriously. They do give you more money for your trade in than Gamestop.
So true.
Bubbles for that.
Seriously I have never gone in there without being asked if I wanted to preorder something at least once.
In fact the only reason I even go in there is to buy used games that are really discounted that I wouldn't spend full price on for my kids. Such as Kameo, King Kong, Lego Star Wars for the the 360, and some other DS games.
I buy my new games for full retail value online.
I wouldn't have to direct my comments towards you if you wouldn't make insensitive comments like that. I didn't approve this story. But I did take the time to read it. As a family man who has a wife and kids I can sympathize with this story. If something happened to the ones I loved it would hurt me beyond words.
If you can't add something positive to such a delicate subject, then don't bother commenting.
Fanboy wars are one thing. This is different.
Could you please just STFU.
Show some respect or don't comment.
And yes I am a guy.
Microsoft has significantly reduced the cost of manufacturing the 30. So they can afford to reduce the price of the consoles at retail themselves. It's not desperation.
It's about frickin time.
The 360 has been out for almost 3 years in US.
The core/arcade launched at $299.00 so for the arcade/core to be reduced to $199.00 mean in almost 3 years Microsoft has only reduced the price by $100.00
The 20GB Pro/Premium launched at $399.00 ...
But a friend of mine on another website just told me when he updated to firmware 2.42 that he gets randomly disconnected from PSN. His exact quote was this.
"Anyone else having problems with the new 2.42 firmware ? My PS3 keeps signing me in and out of PSN and sometimes freezing all together. Once i'm in a game it's fine, but it seems like when i navigate XMB it wants to freeze."
I'm pretty sure the people who are having issues with firmware 2.42 are in...
First of all Fud Boy. The 360 hasnt even been available for 3 years at retail yet. So I dont know where you get 4 years from. It's approximately 2 years and 8 months old in the US.
Second of all. Sony didn't fix all of the PS1's and PS2's that had faulty CD-ROM and DVD-ROM drives. I know I went through 2 PS1's because the first one had to be turned upside down to read certain games then eventually just died. I went through 3 PS2's because the first one started getting Disc Read...
I apologize. I stand corrected. I got your messages on Live and saw the pics. Please forgive me. Alot of people run around on N4G pretending like they own one console or the other or both and flame on some game or console that they have never experienced.
I can admit when I am wrong. Thank you for taking the time to set me straight.
I still disagree with your opinion about Too Human. But now I at least respect it as a real opinion.
My 360 Gamertag and PSN ID are listed. I don't believe you tried the demo let alone own a 360.
On topic: I didn't really care about this game one way or the other till I tried the demo. It took a while to get used to attacking with the right analog instead of using it for camera functionality. I almost beat the demo without ever switching weapons either. Once I switched weapons and learned the combat system I was hooked.
Edit: Rob0g0rilla- You obviously do care b...
Sony can't afford to drop the price on thier remaining 40GB PS3's. It cost them too much to manufacture as is. They are just trying to sell off thier remaining 40GB's and get ramped up for the replacement 80GB's for the same price. It's a gamble.
I think they prematurely announced the 80GB was going to replace the 40GB though. You dont do those things almost 2 months before they take affect.
I think Sony felt they had to announce this at E3 to try to take away fr...
They were talking about last year. How before the 40GB $400.00 PS3 was introduced in October that the PS2 and 360 were constantly outselling the 20GB/60GB/80GB PS3's at the price of $500.00/$600.00
My 3 boys are on summer break from school. Thanks for asking :)
Here is a whole list of Xbox 360 games that disagree with you.

Somebody decides that a console or a game moves up and down Amazon and posts it as news. As if it's earth shattering news.
I fully expect the MGS4 bundle to sell due to MGS4 being packed in and also due to the 40GB sku being phased out.
If somebody really wants a PS3 and doesnt want to wait a month then the extra $100.00 for a controller with force feedback, limited backwards compatability, and the best PS3 game to date is a no brainer.
