Make it a robot that repeatedly screams "YOU ARE A FAG" and teabags their corpse and I'm in.
Not sure why everyone is bitching. What's wrong with making a game that was meant for more close quarters combat. Some people like that kind of play style so they'll love this. If you don't, don't freakin' buy it. It's a shame how everyone wants a game that's built specifically for them and their play style. Learn to appreciate all types of games. Or just buy the ones you like. Gamers have become so bitchy today.
When twilight princess came out with the wii at launch I stopped by my local gamestop to pick up a copy and actually had a gamestop employee tell me that they sold out of pre orders and that nintendo wasn't going to make anymore copies of the zelda game other than filling preorders....for the wii. I then asked him why nintendo would ever do such a thing...to which his reply was "marketing..." He then proceeded to try to sell me his preorder for like a $100. FU gamestop.
If the game isn't available for purchase anymore...I don't see the problem with it. But that's not a very good argument since a lot of these older games ARE available on the wii through the download store. Just be aware of that.
Five bucks for a ham sandwich you say? Nonsense...here's ten!
8 player co-op was fun, but I'd give it up for coop campaign. FOM has the best splitscreen campaign I've ever played IMO.
I never remember so on the edge of my seat throughout a single player game before. I actually felt like I was fighting for the lives of my characters.
They should make a more horror-style game in this style. I think it could work out really well. A more silent hill-ish adventure would rock.
@unself
The medic assault rifle isn't terrible. The thing is more of a sniper rifle now though lol. I recommend dual primary weapons with the lmg for general use and the assault for long distance. Or swap the smg with the lmg if you're not a fan.
the respawn time should increase for sure, imo. BUUUUTTT I completely disagree about the range thing. Short range keeps me from getting respawned by idiot medics who want to respawn me right in front of 10 enemies firing like crazy. I hated medics in KZ2 cause of that.
I think a 10 second respawn again would do the game some good though.
a cut scene is supposed to pop up shortly after the area fills with fog fyi.
Yeah that too. Helps if you bring up the camera view to see where exactly you are in the view. try to set the camera where the move in generally in the center.
Bought one of those when they stopped production so price dropped to like $30. Bought every game I could get my hands on. Played it for hours and hours. My depth perception is actually really terrible today. I don't know if it's because of virtual boy, but....well... seems likely to me.
Uncharted 3? Lotta 3s on the ps3 this year...
I hated Homecoming so much. Only Silent Hill game I've never finished (minus the wii one, still waiting on a ps3 port :P).
Keeping out of direct sunlight helps. Also make sure the cord for the pseye isn't slowly moving the camera or something silly like that. If you're have trouble getting the cursor just right, moving the eye to the left or right can help fix this problem too. And make sure when you are calibrating the move you are holding it very still. Hope I helped some.
You disagreed? what are you...a 12 year old?
...oh...
:P
I was just in a game where my entire team was basically all tacticians and theirs had maybe one. I'll give you two guesses to figure out who beat the hell out of who and I'll give you a hint...it wasn't them...
Hmm, wonder if they'll add in controller support on the pc side then. I have this on my laptop and using a mouse or touchpad in a car sucks.
Funny article. But I have to say...yes you should put down any medics you shoot. They're usually pretty easy to spot with their bot. Cause it is REEEEEALLLLY embarrassing to shoot a medic planting a bomb turn around to continue defending the area and 5 seconds later you're getting your throat slit. I felt like such an idiot.
I've been too nervous to go online since I heard about these problems to be honest.
