I pledge to go commando on Sep. 20th.
Anybody really wish they'd have put on r2/l2 buttons now? hopefully the back touchpad will be able to handle that function well enough.
just the scoped snipers if I remember right.. in source and 1.6
Took me 8 straight hours of grinding to get the pure bladestone. As well as I didn't get a pure darkmoonstone to drop for like 8 playthroughs. Although I noticed as soon as I leveled my luck to like 15 it drops about once per playthrough now lol.
I just got it when the move came out. I also had to beg people online to do the challenge to meet at the stadium...got lucky with a group finally.
Maybe they'll consider leaving the old voices in as an option once they see the backlash this makes... we can hope...
That's a good point, but it's not like they couldn't enable a feature to let you make an offline only character so those of us with gaming laptops could take it on the road and what not. Just not allow those characters to ever go online or trade any equipment...simple.
There is absolutely no reason you have to use the turn based-ish feature(VATS) of fallout 3/NV. You can play it just as a normal fps if you choose. It can come in handy in a jam but a decent shooter at the default difficulty won't be needing it very often.
And the slow down camera shot for kills can be turned off in the options. (Atleast it can in New Vegas...I don't remember if fallout 3 did or not)
...yellow light of death proof though I suppose?
Just got my code, downloading now.
whoa whoa whoa...spoiler alert
that's great and all...but not everyone thinks those features are neat. Honestly I just want to play my games and join an online game or two when I'm in the mood for it. I don't even use mics online even with friends. I usually mute everybody 'cause I get tired of hearing them. I just use my phone to talk to people when I need to.
XBL may not be JUST about online games...but what if that's the only feature you care about...you're paying just as muc...
Honestly, the online fee was the only thing that ever kept me from buying a 360. Is it a lot of money? not really, could I afford to pay it? yeah. Would I feel like I'm getting scammed when the ps3 is out there letting people who pay the same price for their games play online for free? hell yeah.
I'm not trying to say they should make it free at this point, I think that'd be a big business mistake on their part. I wouldn't imagine a large enough surge in ...
...but they got a dual scope system now dude...it's like two scopes...in one...totally different...
/s
something tells me it won't work that way...'cause ngp games would have to be the same price as full console games for that to make any sense. perhaps buy a $40 ngp game and you can only play it on ngp...but buy the $60 ps3 version and get a free download for the game for the ngp?
I suppose it is possible ngp games will be $60 though.
online only drm is quite possibly the worst thing to happen to games ever...I'm looking at you ubisoft. Although they did start removing it, atleast from splinter cell conviction and assassins creed 2.
The problem with used video game sales..is that a used copy is generally no different than a new copy. It's not like a car where there are some obvious differences in buying new/used. At least up until a year or two ago when we started doing the online pass which I think is also hurting new buyers.
I think it's smarter to offer a bunch of small items to new buyers that have little effect on the game...skins, 24 hour double xp, a few unlocks early, early access to ...
they force you to reset the password, and if that account was 'activated' on that ps3..like how you can only activate your account on 5 different systems then it just lets you change it on there. If it is not like my wifes, then they send an email to the address listed for the account and you have to change it from there.
We didn't use a valid email when we set hers up so she can't reset the password. She's not the only one who had this problem.
If your account isn't activated on the ps3 then you have to do it through email. This is why some people have to do it that way. My wifes account wasn't and had to be done through email but we don't have access to that email any longer. Bascially she has no way of getting her profile and trophies back now. My account however was activated and I was able to just change it on the ps3 it self.
@way above
just so you know if you can't sign on...
How do you pull the info off the hard drive when the ps3 ylod? If you put it in a different ps3, it automatically overwrites everything on the drive, doesn't it? Can you get it through a pc?
