This isn't new games graphically change during the course of development for better or worse (most of the time, worse). It's not not new and it happens all the time.
Nope, It's a stand alone title. You get a bonus for having a save file from the vanilla version. If it's anything like Golden it'll be worth the purchase with the qol improvements, new story content, dungeon/ semester and characters
Tbh you were fooling yourself in thinking the final product was going to look like the trailers . Even with that said Witcher is still one of the best titles to come out this gen.

I loved everything about FFXII except for Vaan and Penelo. The ATD system was the next evolution of the ATB system and direction (for the franchise) I wished to be used again in a future games. I can't say enough nice things on how in depth and advance that the gambit and license board truly was.

No offense, but you're playing the game wrong. You don't have to use the gambit if you know what you're doing.
The story was good. Also you can turn off the gambit system on whatever character you're using (I did). The ATD and gambit system is one of the best things to happenes to the franchise.
If it's $20 bucks it'll be a pass for me. Why pay that much for one title when I can get 1-3 for the same price?
Please be better than Kingdom Hearts 3, that was a disappointment
