That would be regression. The original FFVII used an ATB system why on earth would the remake use a CTB system?
Wait and active mode in an ATB based system isn't the same as being an action rpg. Who knows though maybe Square can learn from their mistakes from FFXV and KH3 battle and actually incorporate some depth to the gameplay
Final Fantasy XII and X-2 has the best gameplay of the entire franchise
Because the game did sell well, and people like myself enjoyed the first title.
It seems like like it, but 4 million is great for a niche franchise like Nier. It seems like Square excerpts more their western I.Ps I remember them stating that reboot title didn't meet expectations (even though it sold over 4 million copeis)
I hope the director of FFXVI A Realm Reborns handles the next mainline FF (single player) The story and characters are the franchise best since FFIX.
Same here. Maybe Capcom and MS can work out some sort of deal.
I did. Heck, DmC is one of my favorite Devil May Cry titles. (Dmc5, 3, DmC, 4, 1) 2 doesn't make the cut. Haha
Didn't Baba leave Square after forming the team?
I use tos talk crap about the whole censorship thing with Sony, but they're taking it a bit too far now. Leave it up to the ESRB, Sony
I would want to see that
I enjoyed Odyssey, but I'd take Breath of the Wild over it
It's a remake, not a remaster
Earthbound is a Nintendo franchise
Same here along with Death Stranding
I hope not. Her death played an important role to the overall narrative.
Nobody picked up Red Dead for it's bare bones multiplayer
I hope so. Screw RDO gove us single player story dlc
The first is great and X has a fantastic battle system. XBC2 on the other is alright it suffers from bad pacing and the game drags on way too much for no reason whatsoever.
So you don't care about the characters, lore, music and story? Btw it's been confirmed for nearly five years now that it won't be turn based.
