Don't really like the idea. I love retro games, but i'd prefer not going backward. Unless they have some crazy-awesome-killer exclusive apps then i'll pass.
Agree ! Nowadays, i'll just either take risk and buy the game or borrow it from friends. Even youtube can't help me make the decision.
Looked at Dark/Demon's souls gameplay video back in the day, didn't give those 2 shit. Then in 2013, i'd got to try them, instantly became my favorite series.
There're lots of unique games back in the Original Xbox days. I'd love to see they getting remake/remaster on X1. Phantom Dust was definitely a nice start.
Though i'd still prefer new games overall.
You have to wait till the appropriate events like E3, Gamescom. They can't just go about and announce everything every other day.
The remaster technically won't matter much. But if it's blooming in sale, you know people's gonna do more of these remasters and putting on the ridiculous price tags like this one.
I don't know about you but if this actually happens then i'll be hurt a lot as i imagine all those effort that can be put into new games.
Honestly, i want Xbox to be Xbox, not a Playstation wanna-be. Also, if you like JRPGs then choosing the Xbone might be a big mistake. I'd go for the 3DS or Ps Vita to enjoy JRPGs.
4K, maybe. But with The Order 1886,inFamous 2nd Son, Driveclub, Killzone Shadow Fall and Ryse, i think we're good on that CGI visual part.
Any systems that have the games i like, i will buy and use them to play those games. End of story.
It's all about the software, not so much the hardware.
I know lots of Xbone owners like JRPG. But JRPG for Xbone is pretty far-fetched.
It's not a system-seller game. The remaster is for the hungry fans who are still waiting for the next Gears which is likely to be shown at E3.
Texture, lighting and other graphics stuffs don't grow on air, people works hard for them. But of course, normally that much doesn't deserved 60$, but i'd totally pay 15$ for those.
Why would M$ give its xbone-selling ticket away ?
I wouldn't count on it too much. TLOU demo back in 2011 was incredible. But the AI in the final ver sucks ass compared to the demo's (Even on Grounded mode).
Agree ! Lots of games have realistic graphics but only a few have the realistic Ai that matched the graphics.
Look on the bright side, new comers can now play P.T :)
The world's come to love the games you hate and hate the game you love.
Assassin's Creed 3 did make some significant changes ... for the worse.
This is why you don't show your game to public until it is ready.
I myself like remasters. But only the ones which you can't get on PC. Like Uncharted, Halo or the like. What's the point in making these (DmC,Dishonored) available on cur-gen consoles when you can get Pc ver super cheap and they even looks and play better.
@Palitera : I think it's strictly business deal. Games get more publicity, sites get more clicks. It's all good. Though i really envy the ones who get to see stuffs "behind closed doors".
