Those games are both WAY different too compare. One has devastating "lets kill sh*t" attacks, and the other has a very agile and intricate fighting system. I love both, and both are great, nuff said.
Alan Wake shows game footage in the next couple of months, it is vapourware OR multiplat. That is the only way to explain the....lack (understatement) of gameplay video or screenshots. Not to mention, last video they showed, it was running on PC, not 360.
if Motorstorm looked like that. Next goal? Make Motorstorm 3 look like that (add some NEW gameplay features too). Right now though, I'm enjoying my Motorstorm 2.
download a 1080p movie...at 11 Gigs each...
My point is (like many other people's) is that DMD won't get it far. Compressed DVD movies run about 700 in .avi format. That's decent, but since this article is trying to say DMD is the answer to bluray (for the 360 that is) then that means it will have to answer to the larger game sizes that won't fit on a DVD9 (8 gigs available to devs [the last gig is used for mandatory MS data crap]). So lets say, a 15 gig game...that would be fun ...
ONLY difference is contrast. That's not even with ALL parts of it, you can tell at about 10-15 seconds, you see the guys shorts as it the screen pans, on the 360 it looked lighter while it went to the ps3, it looked darker, but that is the ONLY part i noticed it.
TL:DR exactly the f*ckin same.
iPhone can't handle current versions of Flash. - Fact
It only plays Java/Javascript games at the moment...sigh =/
that was some computer/fps lag for the PC version, especially for those high specs. PS3/360 versions seem to run a lot better..well because they are optimized for the hardware.
..is the paintgun DLC free? Cuz that would be epic >_>...I wont get LBP until my bday tho =[. (january) not too far though...I just need to hold off a little longer.
By the way, that video was f*cking awesome.
But that is because I got my PS3 like a month ago..and I'm broke. Yay college/car costs.
4D being implemented into a game would mean a (re/pro)gression of entities in a game, whether models, textures, environment that change over time. There are a few videos out about procedural texture degradation that looks pretty cool. Hope they actually get implemented into games.
Snake wins with the Railgun in arms. Everyone asks the question "Who would win in a fight?" OBVIOUSLY Snake..no doubt, BUT when it comes to the games, I love them both. Splinter Cell is a much different experience than MGS, and I like it. I love blowing stuff up and snapping necks with Snake, but I also face raping people with Same fishers palm and knocking guys out.

when I was a youngin back when FF7 came out, I thought Aeris and Tifa were hot >_>. Graphics these days, just a little more work and they will look lifelike. Not gonna lie, those polygons are HOT lol.
-Left 4 Dead, I have for the PC (it's already getting repetitive, people need to make maps now)
-I didn't like Gears, Gears 2 single player was fun though, I still can do with out, I honestly would rather do without the fanboys thinking the cover system came from Gears
-Halo 3, while everyone in my school was saying H3 was going to be amazing, I told them it would be horrible, guess what, it was and a $50 expansion won't fix it either.
-Mass Effect was ...
I see what you did there >_>...
While you do have a point, you must keep in mind Home is more of a virtual world while 360 Avatars are only, well, avatars. People would pay to pimp out their Home characters and strut around in what ever outfit they have (or what ever bigscreen they bought on there and what not) than to pay for an outfit for a character that is virtually non interactive beyond making him/her dizzy/smile/etc.
Also the PS2 defect, yes it did exist, but it was about 5% of the PS2's. I bought a laun...
1 new map, 1 remade map from PC version, and 1 level from the campaign changed a bit to turn it into a MP map....so in reality, its 1 new map for 10 bucks.
