lets not use linux..you know the only OS that has been made to be able to use as many cpu cores as it has...since..well, the birth of linux.
You can always change the processes (i forget howto) so that you can force a program to run on 1 or all cpu cores.(I dont know if you can do lets say 3 out of 4 cores)

I wouldn't buy it if it came to PS3. I already beat it (friends house) and that was enough for me. Honestly, I was tired of the UE3 engine after UT3 came out for PS3. Gears 2 wasn't riddled with glitches like Gears 1 (thought it still has some). But because it doesn't have AS many, (no game breaking ones atleast) you can enjoy the gameplay.
