the Jak & Daxter series to me is simply put one of the greatest, as with the innocence of my youth playing the first game I was the ripe age to pick up Jak 2 and Jak 3 improved everything I complained about Jak 2 by far
I still remember the little in jokes like when krew signs them up for the racing team Daxter is reading the contract about merchandise n stuff n then reads out 'game rights' Daxter turns looks at the camera lyk 'wtf this is a game' gd times...
Dam I can't wait for this game :D this preview only pumps me up more for it :D
not the best logic tbh, nobody knows how either will truly play apart from the devs and there's probably no noticeable difference between the console versions anyway

yes the difference netween cheap n hard trophies are important, however the online dupping technique for getting the trophies I find to be bad work around, no point of having them if you didnt earn them is what I say, had a friend who asked me to do it, shot him down bout it :P
also vanquish is tough, challenge 6 is a pain I have a friend who did it on his 40th attempt (yes we both counted) n by my 40th I could comfortably get through rounds 1,2 and 3 but 4 n 5 are a pain, h...

I wondered about this after seeing the recent DMC trailer that came out of Gamescom looked to have a similar fluidity n free form style that Heavenly Sword had (<--my favourite free form fighting system ever) and it also seemed to have touches of DMC3 style with changing weapons n attack style mid combo which was really well done in DMC3 if it combines the best of both of these combat systems as well as it seems then I'm going to have to forget that Dante is now an emo n get the game

Oh man its so brutally good getting that Trophy, I agree farming for the pure bladestone was a nightmare still what a great game and bring on Dark Souls :D
Its a good point, I currently have 8 platinum trophies (1 trophy away on 2 different games) but there all games I've really enjoyed, out of them all only Vanquish did I play with goal from the start to get the platinum, it ruined some of the enjoyment for me so yes don't buy games just to platinum then its even better :)
P.S also respect for anyone who has done Wipeout HD that is tough :P my currently 'hardest' platI have is Demon Souls coz its such an awesom...
Yh I totally agree, surprisingly my friend has mostly decent plats, but he will play bad games (Avatar, Quotom of Solice, Dark Void) for plats n thats what I just can't bare to do. Credit to him tho as hes also platted some insanely hard games like Sims 3, C&C:RA3 Vanquish and so on
Still I don't like the concept of buying games just for trophies, even if there decent game, Heavenly Sword and MGS 4 will always be 2 of my favourite games despite no trophies n play...
I have a friend whos nearly at 50 plats n honestly after playing 2 or 3 games how he does for a few plats (we had some competitions to see who could plat certain games first) n honestly I just cannot enjoy the games as much when purly focusing on the trophy aspect, so my new rule is I'll only plat a game I really enjoy n have played multiple times e.g Uncharted 1 + 2 demon souls etc :) makes for much happier gaming still with the satisfaction :)

I kno what you mean, I try to do the more expensive manner of buying the games day one so I can avoid a big backlog but its tough (and did I mention expensive) got Dark Souls out very soon n then Uncharted 3 and Skyrim . . . I don't know how I'm going to manage it and I have recently been stuck into Starcraft 2 such an amazing game
