very interesting point, rationally I completely agree, I want it to be gritty realistic and hard, which is why Killzone 2 was such a joy too me and partially why I'm thinking of not picking up Killzone 3
However my actions sometimes deceive my thoughts as I can play CoD for countless matches often getting the old 'one more round' syndrome and is the reason why I have put so many hours into CoD 4 and MW2. This is where its odd as I can play a single round of killz...

Hey, there was a closed beta not that long back, I was a fortunate to be in it n the beta feedback forums were FULL of negative comments, some better written than others but 95% wanted it to be lyk KZ2 n the only thing they've done is up the recoil slightly on the LMG n SMG
There is slight more balance in this latest version of KZ3 as the tactician n the LMG were drastically over powered in the old beta. Not all games are balanced, even if they've had a beta, I would...

Good news if it happens but I dnt believe thats happenening, any chance of a link about it, i was in the older KZ3 beta n they told us that custom games were not going to be in KZ3 would b great if they changed there minds tho

Duno why your getting disagrees its tru a lot of the cutscenes made up the play time i remember wen i was younger n played MGS3 for the first time (first of the series i played) it took me a full 20 hours, i was always stealthy n didnt lyk combat so always snuck around, 2nd playthrough played mostly the same but skipped some of the cut scenes n halfed the time so did in 10 hours

yh agreed on what your saying, I think thats the idea behind the 'skillshot' system, in order to get more points (for leaderboards or wepon unlocks upgrades or rankings however there going to impliment it) will require you to do different things

Fair point sorry if this came across a bit whinny, it kinda was i kno what you mean and it is a negitive out look. Now in my defense this is not a review of the game just my personal opinion about it, also (I kno a beta is more for testing and a demo is for wetting the gamers appitate) the beta is kinda marketing for the game, no doubt alot of the ppl who thinks KZ3 is going to be amazing gets it from watching vids of the beta ect so while not a full game it does show core mechanics.

Thats good to hear, I really hope that the people who didnt have much chance to get into KZ2 will find this easier, I'd love for it to be huge even if I dnt like it myself im happy to stick to KZ2 if needs be as controlls never felt bad to me (except wen very close up to an enemy)

In total agreement the number scoring system of games annoys me greatly, and how so many games get instantly lower or higher scores because of competitive games or the platform its on, honestly wish gaming journalists were more lyk you with core questions and brilliant writting styles, just amazing
Good point, I am one of those guilty ones who when i heard about KZ3 that I hoped the controlls would be faster, tbh I'm just worried that after all the effort GG has gone through that this will fall after a few months, im undecided in picking it up
