woah 73 inches thats huge dude, but yh 3D not for me my mates is very much thinking of getting the 3DS so I'll see if hand held games will sell me in 3D, doubt it though, speculation can always be good and I enjoy it and its going to be good to look back and see just what ends up happening I'm sure it will be interesting too

Personally I really think your over exaggerating a lot of what you've said, firstly in regards to 'dominate 2011' thats going to be near enough impossible even with an amazing E3 with 30 major exclusives announced little to none will help for 2011 as they will not be out in time

Good review, its a shame about the delay I really want this game, the sound thing could be disappointing but I guess if your playing custom sound tracks loud it doesnt matter too much (I'll second the Queens of the stone age idea awesome music pumps me up for it)
One little thing, I may be wrong, the review says that apocalypse has 40 different SP races - *half of what Pacific Rift had* but I thought PR had 42 SP races

Agree with the concept and I can see the problem. Personally I think there shouldn't be score reviews, that way people have to actually read the whole thing and judge for themselves, there also then more likely to look at multiple reviews as they may find that something they wanted to know about the game wasn't in that review
I can understand its a horrible coincidence with what the game is about and the time of release, no one could have predicted it. Its a shame but I do hope that people will be able to enjoy the game when released and not completely associate it with what happened in Japan, and of course best wishes to all those affected by whats happened
well said, I have really only gotten serious about gaming this generation (when i could finally by my own console and games) and ever since i've been on this site fanboy has been used as a derogatory term, I considered myself as one of those fanboys, as in i have a favourite console, and then respects the other consoles but that seems to be an oxymoron to a lot of people so i separated myself from the term

Agreed I think it only works cos kratos is lyk a soul relation to MK as in the gore and amazing badassness if Kratos wasn't in there then I dont think any PS3 character would be (though secretly we all want to see sackboys fatality move)

Wasn't that soul caliber idea kinda a con, as in so long after launch you could pay for the other consoles exclusive character even though it was on the disc anyway ?
On topic - I don't think its that big a deal having an extra character on either console, sure I'm a big fan of GOW3 but thats just an extra sprinkle (very well suited to MK) but if the PS3 didnt have kratos chances are there would have been no extra characters on either version unless sackboy would ...

Why is gaming seemingly targeted a lot more than other forms of media, their comparing someone who plays over 20 hours of video games a week to a alcoholic or gambling addict. Apparently gamings bad but 20 hours of TV doesn't get bad press and the amount of time adults and kids are on facebook ect a day can also be huge but again there's less things saying that this is bad.
It really bugs me that games get blamed for a lot, the article even states at one point its abo...
This partially depends on how you define 'hardcore gaming' I would say something along the lines of gaming being the primary hobby with a lot of interest around the games and the industry which is why I'm on N4G. Most of us on here can debate and argue issues over gaming and have put hundreds of hours into games and will continue to be interested and buy new games
So to me they cannot be the new hardcore gamers as were all still here, social gaming is growing hug...
Woah the knock of affect of 9/11, I can understand why but it still surprised me how far reaching it goes, near enough every form of media was checked over and a surprising amount removed.
The difference is the earthquake was a natural disaster and not a terrorist attack but it could have a knock on affect similar to it.
Been looking forward to this game but I didn't even think about how the scene is coincidental to what happened in Japan

Interesting problem, however its all kinda a big fuss about nothing, how many 12 year olds are on CoD, they shouldn't be able to purchase the game or play it but plenty do. chances are you show most 12 year olds that n they'll happily choose CoD over it which fortunately less people seem to have a problem with.
I'm not saying that kids should or shouldn't be playing violent or sexually suggestive games but really any of the kids with CoD probably arent going t...
