As for how 'great' MCC will be, that still remains to be seen as it hasn't been released yet, although I myself won't be buying as I do not own a XB1.
Your PS+ account will return to you once the servers are back up and running. Main problem people will have is when you try any game that you got that is linked to your sub, you won't be able to play them.

I got a PSV only back on Tuesday and already have a huge library of games for that both me and my daughter can enjoy, but I will admit, we did own a PSP go before and I have been a PS+ member since it started. I'm finding the PS link function and remote play to be very interesting. Will try TLOU with later to see how it plays and might get cheap copy of KZ to see how pairing/second screen work tomorrow. We love it.

If MS can make this work (and i hope that they do) I will consider getting a xb1. But for now though I will take this news with a pinch of salt. Let's keep things in perspective guys, MS have made a lot of bold claims in last few years and have had to backpeddle on what they have said. Not saying that they will, but better to be cautious going in, than be a fool who rushes in.
If what Logitech are saying about a 'chip' being need for 'security' reasons as they claim, then that might explain in some part as to why most Bluetooth earpieces are not compatible.
