This is why I hate game reviews, a review should be about the game and not your own personal opinion about it. A game can be good or bad if you like it or not. To be honest no mater the game some site always gives it a uber low score more for the hits then anything.

Its not the Xbox more then its Sony, MS got to where they are because of there good marketing and business strategy. Really the only one to blame is Sony for letting MS get to where they are now. We would see the same if it was the PS3 on top and the Xbox on the bottom. They be getting the lesser support. Its all about market share.
The US Market is the largest and most important. When most games that are out are targeting the US market and your system is down about 8 mill in that market, that is bad. Its late anyway MS has already captured the US market with XBL. I don't see that changing this gen, next one I think it might be a different story.
Just because you install the game dose not fix the disk swapping thing. Really just helps with load times. I can hardly fit ME2 on my system I have a launch Xbox 360 with only a 20G HHD D: 120G HHDs are too spend y when I can get a 500G HDD for my PS3 for half the price...
Sony, unlike MS has no networking infrastructure. MS had that all in place because of Windows and there other products. Sony's strength is in there First and Second Party studios. MS is that they can leverage Windows and there networking, also unlike Sony I am sure MS had better relationships with 3rd party non game company's like Netflix, and Facebook.

Killzone 2 messed up with the online, no party system really pissed me off. Took forever to get just 3 friend in a game. That and everyone used stupid game settings. Zero standards in that game.
MS has already went on record to say FF13 will do better on 360 in the US and you can tell by the bundle and adds that they really want to back up those words. If it dose better on Xbox it wont surprise me one bit. GTA is a good example. The every day consumer never comes to N4G or even keeps up with gaming news in anyway. They really only know things when you slap it in there face like TV adds. Worldwide it will be the PS3 easily but in the US. Good chance Xbox will win or just be a million ...
This would really hurt the PlayStation, being os many games use Unreal. MS could in a way forced the development of the Unreal to help the 360 more and always keep the PS3 3rd party games at bay. I don't see Sony just letting this happen.

I know what you mean. I can understand if the system was still $599 and what not. It is just getting stupid now. We will see the same stuff with GoW3 and GT5 come out.
lol, why are people still looking for a reason to buy a PS3? The price is down it has a lot of great games. Blu Ray. And other goodies. What dose it need to make coffee and wipe your ass for you too?
Sony should do one of those truck adds where the compare like every part. But do it with FF13 on the PS3 version VS the 360. It would be so funny.
On a side note, The Life with PlayStation is something that needs to be used more. You could put Facebook, Twitter and others as channels in that. It think it would work great to have one app you open to get too all your Social networking tools and even Netflix and Hulu or what ever else is added down the road. Be a good way to keep things somewhat organized.
So you know that all of that can be done, might need too lower the resolution for speed reasons but there is zero reason why Sony can not do that. I can program in C# and C++ as well as other, and have done OS development. Only reason we don't have any of that is a lot of it cost a lot of $$ for VOIP servers. I'd like Sony to rethink there hole interface and make something more like the NXE that is both usable and can keep people in touch with the world of Playstation. Sony has a lot of work ...
Its funny, not long ago SE was trying to defend images of the PS3 version ending up as 360 ones. Now we find the 360 if you look has quite a bit of cut corners. I mean how many times now this gen has PS3 footage or images be used to make the Xbox game look better?

More or less will. GTA4 ran better on the PS3 as did Burnout and some other games. Oblivion and Bioshock as well and most sites gave them lower scores for being 'late' in the game. Other then HAWX where IGN gave it a higher score because it had the You Tube feature on the PS3 I cant say I seen any Xbox game get a lower score. One could say that that ever Xbox game because of Cross Game Chat and in game music deserves a higher score being it can make the game more enjoyable. Its quite an inter...
Going to be interesting, MS is saying FF13 will out sell the PS3 version in the US. World wide we all know that Sony will get the majority. But the US market is where they really need a win as it is the one where they are at a huge loss in. That and the US is the #1 gaming market as well. If the PS3 version sells less MS is never going to stop talking about it and it will be a huge PR win for them and just keep enforcing MS's business strategy that so many seem to hate.
For me its only bad when it affects the game play. Like Fallout 3 with the pausing the game when friends got on and offline. Graphical differences will happen no mater how good the devs are there are things both systems do better. I will admit though it gets old how when a Xbox game has the lower quality port it gets so much defense by the community. Everyone makes such a huge deal when a PS3 game has lower quality visuals but FF13 I don't feel that much of a backlash. Maybe its just me. Othe...
I feel the same way the writer does. The PS3 has much better hardware but the Xbox has networking and user interface advantages. I personally like my Xbox more then my PS3 but most of the games I like are from Sony's First Party studios. I'm also a heavy online gamer as well. Good news is interface and networking can be changed much more easy then hardware. So almost all problems I have with the PS3 Sony can fix. Just... its a mater of them doing it. Its also annoying about the over priced HD...
I do not see the outside of the Xbox changing, the HDDs and Faceplates and what not would have to change along side it. I mean its not like the current Xbox is huge or anything its a good size and shape the only thing that might be nice to change is use a slot drive and not a tray drive for the DVD player. If anything the main point of this move is to greatly lower power consumption, lower power = less heat. Which would make for a much more stable system. I would not be surprised if the chip...
