Ya this is going to be a huge game. Nothing can touch it. Makes me wish I had a 3D tv to see it all in.
Skittles.. Come here skittles!
Sorry just had to.
Anyway I'm surprised by just how many games will support 3D this year alone. I think their plan is to flood with content to make consumers want to upgrade to 3D.
It is funny. I won't get a PSP till it is an all digital system. I don't want physical media for a portable device. The PSP Go! problem was that you had to rebuy lots of games and also many are not up to get many that I'd like to play. That and the high price point. It was more the support for it that lacked then the idea of digital distribution it self.
I am a heavy Steam user and since about 2-3 years ago I never once got a packaged PC game and it is great. If t...
Maybe, they could do the price drop just in time for the holidays. Or close to when Natal comes out. Is it a smart move yes but they need to focus on 1st party core content. Xbox still sells just fine and this will boost sales anyway just like the slim did for Sony.
The 5 USB Ports are nice. Wish the PS3 had at least 1-2 in the back. For External HDD and the PS Cam. Also I was always mad the Slim did not come with N-band wireless. Seems odd for how popular it is now.
So you know you get 3 more months for free. Not a 3 month trial. When you get 1 year you get +3 more months for free. Which saves you 18$. Still a great deal. If you think about it you will not have to pay again till Sep of next year.
I like what they did. Sony has always had the short end of the stick on 3rd party support vs. MS so this is a good move to step it up in that department. We all know their first party rocks so why not work on where they are weakest?
Hard to say who won just due to the fact many can say Nent. won due to games but Sony still has a crap load more anyway just chose to show new stuff and make new announcement. After TGS and Games Con when they all have a chance to get everything in the open then I can decide.
If Sony would have did the price drop at E3 last year they would have hands down won but that was shown off later in the year and was the biggest single announcement of 2009 so anything like that could h...
Ya it has been sweet so far.
I'm not with MS, I know 3D won't be a huge deal till around 2013. Just wondering after hearing it at EA's event it seems odd for MS to not at least say it can.
If their is a PSP2 they will show it off at TGS. Now would be a little too early considering all the new support behind the current PSP.
Ok this is what I do not get, they said the Xbox can do 3D but I thought you needed HDMI 1.3 to do it. ATM Xbox has 1.2 so is the fact that you will need a new Xbox S to do 3D the reason they are quiet on it?
If anyone can clear this up that would be great I can't seem for the life of me to find any hard details on the subject.
I think people are freaking out about this too much, it is one thing if it happens when it is just sitting their but when you move it or shake it? Not something your suppose to do anyway.
I am a little too, will be fun to see how well it works with KZ3. Considering how the game has a more heavy feel to it. I love all the hardcore games Move will support.
Might I ask what people are disagreeing with? I'm confused. If it is the update of the XMB it is something they will need to do down the road as more content and services like PSN+ are added.
From what I understand if you sign up for 12 months you get an extra 3 months for free which is 18$, the site is kind of confusing on this. Sony never did give many details on the trial.
Oh I totally plan to get it. I get Qore all the time so more or less only cost me 30$ more and I get a lot along with it and I love old PS1 games so It will pay itself off for me in less then 3 months.
Cnet is more a tech site then a gaming media site. They care more about that kind of thing then the content itself. It's not a big deal.
I don't see why they have to be so Secret about it. I think their website made it quite clear and doing an official announcement at E3 would have had people cheering. So this action by them makes little sense from a PR standpoint.
I'm surprised by how the press has reacted to Sony's event. They know very well Sony always has a strong presents at TGS and Games Con and games like TLG and FFvs13 will be showed their more or less. Like I been saying last years big sony announcement did not come from E3 it came from Games Con the slim and price cut.
I feel the game media is a little out of touch when it comes the history of these companies. Its like they act if its not at E3 it might as well not be...
Bet Sony has it on display in Best Buys later this year. I'll just camp at one and play it their all day.
