honestly they should just make a remake of no mercy or here comes the pain
I am thankful for having fierce competition in the video game industry as It is great to see two corporate giants and NINTENDO :p fighting it out for our hard earned dollars. End of the day we as consumers are the winners and I so graciously thankful for that.
Overall I look at it like this, Microsoft gained a lot more market share as the original xbox sold around 24 million and the ps2 around 150 million.
Technically microsoft had the most to gain as they ending up selling about 86 million 360's which is a win comparatively as sony ending up selling 87 million ps3's which is lower than the 150 million ps2's. But then again , when you follow up a console that is the highest selling of all time, there is only one direction...
yea hopefully it would be cross buy if it does happen, I did not have to buy journey on ps4 as I already bought it on ps3
maybe they announce something at psx? Either way, would love to play some of those classics of the past with the dualshock 4
loved the beta but still disappointed that there isn't a campaign, still worth checking out when it hits 19.99
Also where does backwards compatibility end ? I mean lets say sony did manage to bring backwards compatibility to ps3, a lot of people would then complain about not having ps1 and ps2 backwards compatibility, so then ultimately to please everyone we need a system that plays ps1, ps2, ps3 and ps4 games which is not worth the time investing in for Sony and I would much rather they focus on new games.
look backwards compatibility is great and I appreciate microsoft are figuring it out. But to be honest I do agree with Sony that it is not used that much. I mean I have the fat ps3 which plays ps2 games and I hardly used it.
However it is a good feeling tho knowing that if one day I do go back and play those games I have the option available to get rid of my old console which does not resonate with me but might suit other people.
End of the day tho, it is the same games from t...
players also deserve a game that does not force you to be online
I GOTTA BE A MAN, I CAN'T LET IT SLIDE..
would love a new resistance or enslaved odyssey sequel, very underrated games
I wonder if microsoft ever thought about entering the portable gaming market with the surface pro as it is such a powerful device. They could at least test the waters with it as opposed to a full blown gaming handheld
Its so easy to be ignorant and say ps4 has no games at all, Im not going to bother listing all the exclusives because it is common knowledge that there are enough playstation exclusives to get into if you buy a ps4 now.
Did the burnout games not sell well? I mean paradise was easily better than all the need for speed games released on last gen imo. Why do we still not have a new burnout ?
I believe the alienware alpha steam machine supports all the steam games as it uses windows, correct me if Im wrong . So you might wanna check that out.
Thank God for competition, kudos to microsoft for changing their policies. One does wonder tho that if Sony also followed suit and implemented the same initial policies, we as gamers would have to give in.
Gamers however voiced their displeasure by giving their money to sony forcing microsoft to change , In the end GAMERS Win as both consoles are now mainly focused on Games as the primary selling point.
like finally switching off the lightbar to save battery
AHHHH ILL BUY IT AT A HIGH PRICE
that would be better for everyone in U.S who should import the ps4 from Canada , for me Im still paying in Canadian dollar so makes no difference to me
Holy, Honestly even after microsoft's initial launch botchup I did not expect Sony to be selling such insane numbers, I just Hope sony put in the effort in terms of exclusives the way they did for the ps3, 2016 looking good with the flagship title Uncharted 4 mere months away .
Also many of the people I know that owned 360's are converting to ps4 while those with ps3's are not really converting to xbox one based on my circle of friends, which if it is the norm, w...
