Why would you expect a new powerful engine when this generation's consoles are already at their maximum on the actual one? CoD is running at 60 FPS/1024x600 on consoles, and if you watch eurogamer's perf video, it actually slows down to 40 FPS sometimes on MW2. Graphics aren't getting a lot better not because developers are crap (well they can still improve on the artistic aspect), but because the consoles are already outdated. The least we can expect from the next console generat...
This is no HD resolution so that you can play it at 60 FPS, it's a developement choice. With KZ3, sure you have better graphics but it runs at 30 FPS (which is still playable).
In my opinion, the CoD engine has a good smoothness/beauty ratio...
Of course it will outsell it, Black Ops is multiplatform while KZ3 is... well, you know (but maybe you wanted to say "on PS3")
no cinematics in COD, in-game only.
Poor Raven...
Well, I hope there's gonna be a beta on PC then.
This is perhaps great for the next gaming years to come: now that Activision has Bungie, I'm sure the guys at Respawn will be more motivated than ever to beat their former publisher and Bungie will be developing a fresh IP.
Resistance takes place in an alternative time line from 195x and in one of the gkonva6 transmissions there is a picture of JFK during the Cuban Missile Crisis 1961... this definitely not Resistance.
This is not very much of a news, the site has been updated a week ago. And it has almost been cracked (solutions here: http://callofduty.wikia.com... ).
And I don't see why it would suddenly turn out to be a Resistance game just because there is a Hertz quote with "alien". There are still more facts that point out to CoD 7 than Resistance.
The weapon is not so modern. It's an early version of the M16 used during the Vietnam war (well, it's indeed recent compared to WW2). But D-Day is a term often used in military and not exclusive to June 6 1944 while it's the most famous one.
I wonder if they recieved words from Treyarch to put this image or if they chose it hearing the rumours.
I think that's bullsh*t. I was pretty responsive in CoD 4 but in real life, I'm still slow...
I think it will be cracked faster than AC2. I guess the PC version must be gold by now so even if Ubisoft find a way to re-protect their game against SKIDROW's crack, they won't be able to put that protection on the disc. Sure, they can patch it after the launch but the team must be able to crack it while offline.
Anyway, Ubisoft DRM has now completely lost its meaning besides annoying their legit customers.
We're pretty sure now it's Treyarch's CoD then...
West & Zampella didn't work for EA, I mean not directly. 2015 (the studio they worked for) was an independent studio developing games for various publishers (EA, Activision, Vivendi). It's just that W&Z (and 23 other guys) left 2015 after finishing MoH:AA for EA. So technically, they didn't left EA... But then, I don't know why they left 2015, that would be another story... Also, Infinity Ward was not created as an Activision subsidiary at the beginning. The studio was formed in 2001-...
it's the exact contrary, CoD (MW2) isn't made for fans but for "everyone" (casual). Real fans of the CoD serires and FPS players are disgusted by it...
Respawn Entertainment IS an independent studio. EA funded them and will publish their games but Respawn will keep control over their IPs, thing that wouldn't been possible with Activision since they own (part of) IW and their IPs.

as well as the most expensive...
Oh damn! I forgot it was only for FPS... well, forget about it then.
rather when IW mes... I mean made MW2
