I was never shocked with in-game ads on billboard and all (even the dynamic ones that kept changing with updates), I rather found it cool.
Now if they start including commercials during loading screens, then I would get pissed^^
it doesn't need my money too...
In the same way, Brothers in Arms Hell's Highway had a Phillips building during a mission in an industrial area of Holland.
I think in-game ad such as this is ok, and it also serves as a link to the real world since this time it's no more Liberty City nor Los Santos but real Los Angeles.
It's not that it's old. IW only based their engine on the source code of the quake engine which was made free since 2005. They altered the software so much it could be called "in-house".
It's just that Call of Duty sticks to 60 FPS on console. Enhancing the graphics on this generation of console without droppign the frames or the resolution (they've already done that for Black Ops, and when comparing between PC and consoles, the gap is larger than ever) is re...
Yeah I highly doubt it was gameplay...
I think we'll have something similar to this (approximally the same date too):

Raven didn't make them, that were just rumours.
@GrieverSoul I agree that both versions look great, but it was more PS3-players who were hitting on the inferior 360 version than the Xbox players complaining.
Just look at the commentaries on the first H2H article:

I wish people could be more mature than that. Obviously, PS3 to Xbox port make the verison...
Strategic victory for BF3, tactical victory for MW3... which means: BF3 will be a better a game, but MW3 will sell more.
That's exactly why they created this division: to handle things themselves. Have you seen Lineage? For a (live-action) movie made by a game publisher and a digital FX studio alone, it's pretty well done and the player can really feel the connection with the game (e.g. You see in the last episode why the hidden blade was broken at the beginning of the game which was not explained in it).
Besides, Team Bondi's CEO himself stated that R* helped them during the development with people and advices.

First of all, I'd like to precise my expectation is very low for MW3 and for now I'm only planning to buy Battlefield 3.
However, I think changing the engine now for the Call of Duty series is useless. At least during this generation of console and in the actual yearly/developer-relaying release cycle. As 402 said it, making an engine from scratch is time consuming, and doing it now, they'll only achieve something very similar to what we've already seen since ...
Won't be as destructible as Battlefield or Red Faction if MW3 sticks to the 60 FPS.
"And no one should make the claim that "it's a PC game first", because COD was also a PC game first and Infinity Ward were PC developers."
That's not a relevant argument. This installment of Battlefield is being lead-developed on PC while MW3 (and every other CoD since the second one), is being developed on Xbox 360.
We are still like 6 months from the release of both game, they won't roll over everything so fast, just wait... ...
Seems like Modern Warfare 2 with a new story and different locations...
Also Assassin's Creed (as Dsemond) for his default voice.
He also has a complete different voice in Call of Duty Zombies where he voices the lunatic German doc.
I agree that we shouldn't feel bad about it but writing an article about it doesn't necessarily mean the author has compassion for these hackers.
Mediterranean sea... ?
If it is to be released this year, I would prefer they use the same assets. I don't think they would be able to do something of quality from scratch in a year...
yeah, I'm sure russian terrorist is way more original...
I would have like a modern ww3 game, but how this conflict was brought up in this series is ridiculous.
