Unreal Engine: for a moment I thought it was the real deal. Well, it's still not fair considering that's it's cam-captured, "everything" could look real through it.
@TABSF No, they're indeed talking about -traditionnal- motion capture. You can do highly detailed facial animation capture with mocap tech, and that's what they did with Avatar (the film), Enslaved, Black Ops, Tron (I think), etc.
Motion Scan is a completely new technology patented by Depth Analysis. I imagine the difference with traditional mocap is that it does not (only) capture the animations but also the entire model & texture of the actor's face. In that...
@Pandamobile
Call of Duty didn't have any game pad support... until Black Ops.
So that's not a reason.
In my opinion, efficiency put aside, I think it's more comfortable and immersive to play with a pad than M&K.
Since when storyline is the most important thing in games? Sure, it's pretty disappointing when a game has a poor or bad storyline but if the gameplay and/or graphics themselves are good, what should be complaining about? Call of Duty 2 (not MW2) had virtually no story, and it was still a great game.
Well, Mr. Bowling isn't completely wrong when he says creating a brand new engine "would be counter productive", at least in their case:
Publishers decide when a game must be done, developers don't, especially when its name is Activision and its CEO is Bobby Kotick.
So for an annually released game series that each developing studio has 2 years to build, making a new engine from scratch is a loss of time and money. Furthermore, what would it really change? Su...

Not the first time Faceware is being used. I think it was most imperessive in Red Dead Redemption. The facial animations in this game blew me off.
For Assassin's Creed I prefered the launch trailer:
"-Altair, I hold here a list. Nine men who need to die. They are plague-bringers, war-makers. Their power and influence corrupt the land and ensure the crusade continues. These men must be destroyed. Have you any questions?
-Only where I need begin"
EPIC
Lol, another "cool guys don't look at explosions".
Maybe it's the zombi map with Danny Trejo...
If you want destructible environments, you won't have the 60fps that only Call of Duty delivers. You must choose between the two of them, well at least during our generation of consoles.
I'll play Battlefield 3 this fall anyway :p
Star Wars The Force Unleashed II was fun and polished. It's a "full price" game and it only lasted 4 hours in normal. I wanted (and I still want) my money back more than any Call of Duty.
EDIT: Plus it's a story mode only game.
Well, blue and orange/red are diametrically opposed on the color wheel. That's why it is often used as contrasted colors.
Sorry wanted to agree XD
I think it's more because of the open-world map's size.
The last trailer isn't even an official one...
Having a quad-core, pretty good news to me. Now let's hope they officially announce a date soon.
SWTFUII nominated?! WTF?!
anagrams were funnier:

Plus it makes loading time faster.
Did the EA CEO said Respawn's title would be a FPS?
"We have great partners at Epic Games, Crytek and Respawn, who are also helping us build out our first-person shooter portfolio..."
