Remedy is a public company so not as easy to buy. Quantic has already got the investment to go multiplatform. If Sony wanted to buy them they would have done so in the past. You need to remember that Sony is also doubling (or has done already) the teams within its own studios (S. Diego, S Monica, Naughty Dog, Guerrilla) so those studios can produce multiple IP at a quicker pace. I think one thing seems to have gone amiss here. Sony is already doubling up on their own studios by increasing and often doubling the manpower in each of their main studios. San Diego, Santa Monica, Guerrilla, Naughty Dog, etc.are some that have had increased investment in manpower so they branch out on 2 separate projects at the same time whilst sharing resources. I could not care less and I certainly will not buy an xbox. I stick to ps5 for their exclusives and I have a pc with the latest Intel I9 cpu and RTX 30 GPU that destroys the xbox in terms of power so if I want to play the occasional zenimax games I'll get them on pc and they won't be overpriced as on a console.
This is why people should stop crying when PS5 exclusives, EVENTUALLY, ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS, end up on PC. It is good for business and so it would be if Bethesda games, EVENTUALLY, end up on PS5.
yet Sony still sells many more consoles than Microsoft. That says a lot about value. I can play XBOX games on my £3.5k PC but I cannot play PS5 first party on PC thus I do not care about value, I care about the first party games

They are missing the point. PS5 is not about power vs cost ratio. It is also about exclusives. If there were no exclusives and someone had money to build a super rig than the article would make sense.
You cannot compare a relatively low-cost console (even if it is super customized) vs a gaming rig with the latest GPU which can run at anything between 20 to 30 TF. They are aimed at different markets.
I hope this is done by increasing the workforce for every major studio so they can work on 2 IPs at the same time or acquiring more developers.
I agree it was good but I just finished it in one sitting. Maybe PSVR 2 will bring a longer VR game. Star Wars Squadron is playable in full in VR but I think it is just space combat.
I believe exiting franchises from Bethesda will continue being multiplatform but there will be games built specifically for Xbox which will match what Phil said about games will be on 'other consoles; on a case by case scenario.
