The key point is that a number of developers have come out have and explained that the power difference is minor. Yes XBOX has a little advantage but when it comes to games those developers believe it will make a little difference.
For the first time ever I am keen to get both consoles instead of just a PS5 only, not because of the power but because of the future exclusives on XBOX. I always care about games and not power.
The reasons why game take so much space is because they need to duplicate assets on HDD install to reduce the seek time needed to find data. On SSD the dublication is unnecessary therefore the isntal size can be reduced. Nevertheless 1TB or less is way to small but they do give us the ability to expand SSD space.

@ImGumbyDammit That is not enterily correct. Please go and watch the DF video. They have the ability to redirect pwoere from the CPU to the GPU to achieve the 10.2TF speed if the developers choose to do so and the APU won't fry becuase for CPU and GPU have varilabel speed and power can be redirected between the 2. I would agree that this feel like a last minute addtion to respond to the raw power of series X and I would also agree that Sony shot themselves in the foot with keeping this GP...

There is defensive and there is stupid. What are tehy scared of? There is speculation that comapred to xbox the PS5 GPU is underspecced but overspecced on otehr areas. Whatevever the case they need to come out and talk. I bought every playstation and portable playstation that has every been released and will buy the PS5 no matter the specs as I like their exclusives but Sony needs to come out of the shell and talk.

Given Sony already confirmed that the current generation of PSVR is compatible with PS5 and that the next generation PSVR will not launch at the same time as PS5 this can only be about an iteration of the current generation headset aimed at reducing costs and getting more people on board with VR.
PSVR sold over 5 million headset, which is exceptionally good for a new tech but a small drop in the ocean compared to the number of ps4 units sold so they are counting on more people trying...
