Whilst I understand why they could not support SSD expansion yet I truly do not get why, from the onset, there is no option to archive PS5 games on an external HDD. Absolutely ridiculous they did not think of that given game sizes. We were also promised by Mark C that games will be smaller in size due to no duplication of assets on SD yet installed game still takes a huge amount of space.

FF titles and exclusive deals with platform holders (which come with big financial remuneration) have nothing to do with the failure of Avengers which was bland and semi-boring. GAAS is really an industry trend that is not serving us gamers.
If instead, they had focused on a single-player game, with a great story, gameplay, etc (like Sony did with Spiderman) would they have lost money?

Not enough time to replay it but good it is there. The terminology 'up to' is annoying given the use of dynamic resolution and the fact they are using Unreal Engine. One would hope that with Dynamic if developed unlock frame rates the PS5 should be capable to run steadily at 60fps.
That would be OK if they were planning to launch PSVR2 in 2021 but they are not (according to Jim Ryan) so it is a long wait for the new tech and PSVR tech does feel old. They could have at least harness the power of PS5 to create better games but it won't happen for now.
These installs are getting worse and worse. If the PS5 install is that big with the suggest SSD available space of 664GB the game would take more than 1/3 of the total available space. Ridiculous!

Some of these games are so long they edge to boredom never mind the fact that people have work and life and it seems to be a norm now to build a backlog of unfinished games because they are too long and there is always something new and exciting coming out.

It is not just about waiting for M2 SSD support to arrive via FW update but also about prices dropping over time. A 1 TB M2 SSD will still not be enough. I managed to fill on PS4 a 2 TB internal HDD and an 8 TB external HDD. Deleting and re-downloading games is not an option, even on Gigabit fibre optic connections when Sony servers are super slow.
