In order for VR to become mainstream Microsoft needs to become an active player too. CR is on PC, Playstation and, in a rural form on the Switch too. If Microsoft joins the band then more people will purchase VR headsets which is beneficial for the market. Yoshida knows it hence why is hitting back at Phil's comments.
Why not on Sony TV. It was there and then removed
So this would be as part of the Masterchief collection given it has been in the works for ages
Resources were pulled from the game to support crunching on Red Dead and support development of GTA and then it died a slow death. Also I suspect coding it form the PS3 at the times when the console was perceived as being difficult to code for could have been another factor given it was meant to be an exclusive title. As the trademark has not been renewed it is now dead. Maybe, they will revive with another title and will be cross platform but one issue I have with Rockstar is that every game...
Good news.
We do not need overpriced storage options. This doomed the vita. I appreciate the SSD and the additional functionality it gives but my worry number 1 about having an internal SSD storage has always been capacity. Given I had to add an 8GB HDD to my PS4 towards the end of its shelf life I am concerned that, if Sony was to offer an internal SSD with the option to increase storage with proprietary cartridges this would increase storage cost. However, if they offer an interna...

Too many live services games and not enough good single player games. No surprises there. Sony is aware that single player games are the way to go hence the focus of their exclusives on single player. To think publishers thought single player was not on trend anymore (EA?). Even COD had to come back with a single player campaign after the stupid move last year to have no single player campaign.
I am up enjoying it
Sony becoming more global with their choices of senior leadership. This is not just about the head of a studio that created Horizon or Killzone but the Decima engine which has shown Hermen to be a versatile guy. Being a game developer will also help heading the Worldwide studios. Will miss Yoshinori San though.
Some people seem to have an issue if games do not score 85% on metacritic.
The truth of the matter is that 84% is a good score if you need external reassurances about games.
When it comes to me I'll rather try games myself than trusting reviews, especially in those cases where you have polarizing scores (e.g. Days Gone was polarizing yet I loved it).
However, when it comes to this game, as much as I have enjoyed the MGS series I am still puzzled by it...
We are likely to have TLOU2 and Ghost of Tsushima being cross generation and probably many more so it is possible that at launch time or launch window there may be several games available for purchase.
I have been worried about it for the same reasons explained in this article.
Maybe the low to average user would not fill up a 1TB or 2TB HDD but, midway to the PS4 life, I had to quickly add an 8TB HDD to the internal 2TB to both my PS4 and I cannot see a way to do the same with the PS5 and benefit form the speed of the SSD once games are installed on an external HDD storage.
Also buying a high capacity external SSD would also be prohibitively expensive.
With ga...
Is the pope catholic?
About time
Nothing is going on to require an article like this.
I wonder what the minimum PC specs will be.
I wonder how this will work given games install are getting super big and SSD capacity is not that great. I currently I have an 8+2 TB HDDs on PS4 Pro which are at capacity so having a 1TB or 2TB SSD in the PS5 is not going to last too long for me. I wonder whether you can still have an external HDD where to install the games and then use the SSD as some form of fast cache storage to speed up loading of those games.
If not I can't see high capacity external SDD being affordable i...
Is that a serious question? There are bundle now where you can get a PSVR with several games at a great price so it is definitely good value for money. Of course, PSVR is now a little outdated when compared to other modern VR platform but there are still great games being developed and ported, the PSVR can be used on PS5 which means it can use the power of PS5 to improve games in the same way PS4 Pro does at the moment and PSVR 2 is in development which can be assumed will be compatible with ...
So why this is news when we already knew that this was the case after Quantic Dream announced it was going multiplatform after the release of Detroit?
I thought Phil did not care about VR given his recent interview
