Why would you leave the original XboxOne out when the S isn't much faster/better? Also, the S does not use GDDR5?

I agree, but I do not see it as the future of gaming, at least for hardcore gamers. It reminds me of the Wii, and in a few years (2-3) it will fade from the gaming radar.
what I mean is, that the graphics are not going to be up to par with everyday PS4 games. I didn't say it wouldn't work. The reason why PS4 Pro is coming so soon after the launch of PSVR is because it should be able to produce closer graphics to normal PS4 games.

VR is not the future of gaming. It will find other uses for the mainstream, but not gaming.

could have predicted this. Most VR titles will be "demos" like what we saw on Wii. Not for hardcore gaming.
VR is a fad, like 3D and motion controls. It will be 'cool' for the first year or two, then fall off rapidly.
I have a 4k monitor (not HDR) but I can see a big difference in some scenes. I'm excited to get my Pro, as my TV is 4k HDR.
It will do well for the first two years, and then drop off dramatically. Hardcore gamers will not want stay hooked for long. Like Move and Kinect.
8 hours, in two 4 hour chunks not one problem...PS4 though
