If this isn't surprising, why is it news?
And no, this isn't why MS has avoided it. MS has avoided it because they can't make any money off user-generated content that can be downloaded freely.
And, despite what the 14-year-old wanna-be lawyers will tell you, neither can Sony. It's freely downloadable.
And OminaeYu, something tells me that you wouldn't have contributed very much to the community anyway.
I didn't change the way I look at games after the release. Good game. Not world-changing.
Now if only this game had full destruction and co-op, it would be perfect.
I don't care what anyone says, there's no such thing as a "legendary" gamer. This is just some dude whose mom bought him a computer so he wouldn't have to get a real job.
I think that this is the first time I've ever started laughing after seeing that I got an agree.
Well done, anonymous donor.
edit: whoops, I'm stupid.
Seriously, that list stinks. Some great choices on there, but there are so many that are missing. Halo 1 should be on there, Battlefield 2 should be on there, and many others.
Yep. No more Konami games for me after the debacle that was MGO.
If Far Cry 2 beats COD5, it beats COD4.
COD5 is just a COD4 mod set in WWII, the only difference being we have to pay for it. This is why I wish more console games had map editors (not like UT3, that requires a PC.)
There is an editor for all versions.
"I almost miss the old days with DICE. After BF2 things were almost never the same."
Yeah...I'm with you there.
I don't mind people disagreeing with me.
The graphics aren't great, but the maps are huge so I can understand why. That's not really a problem with me.
I think the problem is that it's just too cartoony. Third-person shooters are really hard for me to get into in the first place (the last I liked was GTA3), but especially after playing Bad Company, it's really hard for me to get into any other game. If I can't blow everything up, I feel like I'm missing out on a hu...
So, I'm the only person in the world who doesn't like this game?
Ah! Right! I'm one of the 10 people who visit this site who are older than 30!
That explains it.
HAHAHAHALOLOLOL
ORANGE CHICKEN BECAUSE SHE'S CHINESE RIGHT!!!
HAHAHHALOLOL
idiot.
The best shooter on both consoles is Bad Company, not COD4. But, that's a personal opinion, not an absolute truth. Just because COD4 has sold a kazillion copies doesn't make it the best FPS we've got.
It's a lot of fun, but it's not the best. It's just very appealing to younger players who don't really know any better.
I'm always worried about one thing when I read reviews; should I care about the opinions of people who can't spell?
Yay! My first trophy!
You know, claiming something on the internet is a complete waste of time without proof. For example,
I am the President of the Switzerland!
See? Meaningless. Show proof, or shut up.
No.
"events that truly emote an emotional response" is one of the silliest sentences I have ever read.
It was written by someone attempting to look intelligent, but who doesn't really grasp the concept of transitive and intransitive verbs. Not to mention "emote emotions"? Do you "hear hearings"? Or "create creations"? No, you don't.
Outside things EVOKE emotions in you. They don't emote emotions.
If you don't like it, don't buy it. Anyway, bringing the Quran into more people's lives can only be a good thing...if you're a real Muslim, that is.
EDIT: Sorry sandip, thought that was a letter you wrote. It would help if I had read the article.
Anyway, my point is still the same. Anyone who was a real Muslim wouldn't be offended by this, they would be cheering the mainstreaming of Islam.
