My sister just got back from afghanistan. I am happy that she is safe. Wars are always gonna be there. I just wish that the when the usa takes over a country that is a threat it would keep it. These people will never be able to run a country. what ever happened to fighting in a country then keeping it threat eliminated. Now we fight in a country that was a threat give it back and expect them to be happy not more pissed off than before.
This has nothing to do with hardware or profits this is simply who sells the most software and if we are to assume that those attachment rates are correct than we should be able to multiply them and come up with a round about number of software units sold.

You don't need a laptop drive if you have a external case you just plug it in with a male to female sata. you need external case though because if your using a 3.5 inch drive it could be too much for the power supply. i currently run a 500gb seagate barracuda and there dirt cheap you can pick up a 320 gb one in a case already for less than 100 dollars at wal-mart.
Even with the 7200 rpm you need to look at the seek time when you buy the drive. Faster rpms are only useful if the drive is made to take advantage of it. We are not talking about a record player here.

It's really not just a card game it comes packaged with a card game. Thats like saying you wouldn't buy a extra wii mote because it comes packaged with a game and the game happens to be crap.

If this is true you should work for Microsoft. Its automatically the owners fault. don't move the console, don't place it near anything else, don't play it on its side. you cant blame everything on the user.
looks like they are doing away with the imaginary back pack that shrinks every weapon down and allows your toon to carry thousands of pounds. i think its pretty awesome he had to put down the weapon to move the crank then pick it back up.
I'm not saying that it will happen because i have no way of knowing the future but what happens if the ps3 keeps getting better and better and lasts the full ten years while the Xbox 720 (i have no clue what they will call it) is out sometime in that 10 year time frame. if the two have multiplatform games and similar graphics will we then say this is why the Xbox 720 failed since it will in no way be able to compare to the sales of a console that had been out much longer.

sorry i know i shouldnt write this but i think ill be picking up my 360 finaly on thursday. i was wondering is 20 gigs enough i have 500 on my ps3 but its filling up fast. then if you decide to upgrade to the 120 gig harddrive later can you transfer all your stuff over or maybe use both. then does the 36o support external drives. Any advice on the 360 would be useful. i probly have a lot more questions but kinda hiding out at work gotta make it quick.
Thats not true if everybody was supporting hd dvd then they would not have to compete on price and their players would be the same price or higher than bd.
beyond the beyond and final fantasy 7 are the reasons i am a Playstation fan. I was a big fan of squaresoft unfortunately that company no longer exists. I am not a very big fan of squarenix and thus haven't enjoyed much what they have recently brought to market with a few exceptions. i don't think they make horrible games i just don't get that same final fantasy feeling. ill never have squaresoft back but if they made this game i might at least be able to sit back and reminisce.
Thats actually a pretty valid argument i hadn't thought about that. it is hard figure out exactly how much more they should have sold due solely to the shear amount of studios producing only for the bluray format. it does seem like the gap should be wider. But i agree if studios start testing the water then bluray is in for trouble. many people say that bluray will win because it is superior but i cant believe that. it doesn't matter how many stand alones are sold the movie industry needs to make money. I would think that most movie studios care very little or none at all how many stand alone players there are since they make no money from that. what they do make money selling is movies and bluray has outsold hd dvd 2:1 since january all the while having a smaller stand alone install base and a format that is not even complete. i admit that there are a lot of problems with blu ray right now but you cant ...

The servers are are laggy because they are crap. You play a game hosted by somebody that could be downloading music and movies while there their roommate surfs the web. yeah it looks awesome when they have a 20-0 kill ratio but everybody else in the room is still trying to see whats going on. F.E.A.R. on the ps3 did that crap too though it sucks so bad im sure its not all games that are like that but to argue that hosted games are better than dedicated servers is just ridiculous.
