I think more and more developers are realizing that if they hint they might go multiplatform Microsoft will send the truck of money over and buy their way in. Hell thats what i would do if i was developing a game and i knew somebody was tossing out money.
Gears 2 will be on the pc do probably a better version just like last time.

This has been known for quite some time and e3 just proved it. Sony spent the whole time talking about games. Sony has a ton of first party developers that cant go multiplatform. Microsoft biggest news at e3 was that they were stealing a ps3 game and they they wanted to take them all. When your messege to your customers is don't worry guys we are trying to get all the ps3's good games you have a problem. They can't come up with their own stuff.

The guy that wrote this article obviously had some xbox tinted shades on. MS really only anounced one new thing avatars and who knows how those will go over everything else they talked about was either old new obvious or multiplatform.
I don't know why this author assumes that anyone will care ea is just trying to make money. Its like ea is his slutty Prostitute mother and he is leaping to her defense. Why shouldn't we be able to dislike a company that doesn't cater to our taste. There are lots of comapanies out there that do. ea releases games like team fortress on the ps3 that are barely even playable and then wont even patch it so people can play. I don't understand the correlation between square making a m game and them remaking final fantasy VII. They are trying something new so that means they can remake something old no that can't be it. I'll keep hoping for a remake and ill probably be pondering this till it comes out.
The number 13 when games or movies come in a series a lot of people feel like they will not understand it unless they played all the previous titles. This does not apply to final fantasy since there only a couple actual sequels and most are completely different but some people will be dissuaded.

I don't know why everyone thinks it is so hard to connect your 360 to your pc. You do not need wireless all you need is you router. Im going out on a limb and guessing that most people who have a pc and a 360 have a router or some form of connection so you dont have to swap a wire off the modem between the two.

I think hard core gamers said f-you to nintendo long before nintendo said f-you to them. Nintendo has always made games mostly for kids and i think that appeals to adults now days with the crack down on videogame violence.
