Does this mean you will have to play co-op in order to make it through the game. It is a nice feature but i don't really like online co-op i want to be able to play through the game solo or with local co-op.
The armor on the main guy looks craptastic. I couldn't think of a stupider helmet to wear. This game could be awesome but i don't feel like walking around a trash trash can.
you should get the ubuntu live disk. With it you do not have to install anything the os runs off the disc. then at a later time if you like it then you can install it. There is a icon that will be on the ubuntu desktop that says install if you already have windows on you computer it will detect that and ask if you want to create a dual boot. Click yes instal and presto you have your dual boot.
I think for now everybody starts in tortage it is like the first island in eq2 where you get your training after you do you destiny quest and learn the game you head to your real starting town based on your race. So technicly everybody starts in the same place but then goes to a racial starting zone.
Sony games get a choice of how they want to do online with microsoft you developers are forced on to the p2p live servers the only game i can think of that is not on live is ffxi. With sony your game can be on private servers owned by the developers.

They tell people that they will be able to run vista on that kind of a computer but you cant at least not very well. That is a computer that should be on xp.I get sick of people saying that if you computer doesnt suck you will be able to run vista and then microsoft saying that a computer that does suck will run vista.

I think that it is possible that it will come but they will have to use private servers. I just don't know how they are going to install the 30 gigs i think you will just have to have the 120 gig. But they might release the game already on a hard drive thats how ffxi was. Xbox 360 has a swappable hard drive you might just pop on the age of conan one and game away. You can not play a mmo from a disc though that is not gonna happen.
I don't think the pc version was made with a controller in mind. That's not to say that it is not possible but this is a point and click or hotkey mmo. FFXI was made for a controller it uses menus to do everything. I will have to plug a controller in and try it that would be awesome if i could sit back in the recliner and play with my wireless keyboard.
Maybe if they would release games to the crowd that wants them in north america. Their customers do not have ds's or xbox 360's they have psp's and ps3's. If they would release anything for either i would buy it but im not going out to pick up another hand held and im holding out for a cheaper elite before i pick up another 360.
I think this is one of the better mmo's i have ever played. If your computer has the nuts for it you should try it out. The battle system keeps you involved and the mature presentation makes it feel like you are truely playing something made for adults. I did not think the graphics for this game would be able to keep up with vanguard but i am very impressed.

This makes me sad. valve is truely a great company. I don't know why they choose not to develop for the ps3 but it surely is a loss to all us ps3 owners. Maybe someday their position will change but until then i will play many of the great games that are made by companies who want my money and work for it.
My game freezes up every so often right after the cartoon loading screen when it says the name of the quest your on or something in the corner of the black screen but i just reset the system and it normaly works the next time. I have never had a problem while in game just at that one part. My ps3 has not broken or stopped working i havent tried any fix to make it stop. The only problem i have with ea is that in my opinion they use their size and money to keep other companies from being able to compete. If it was not for ea having a seemingly unlimited supply of funds they would not have exclusive rights to the nfl. If they did not have exclusive rights other company's would have a chance at making a nfl game that would sell. Right now most people do not want a football game that is not nfl so there is no profit in competing with ea which sucks for nfl fans ...
He is using psp sales numbers for america to decide whether or not american's like final fantasy anymore thats hardly a basis for anything. I can't prove that most people who have a psp have it on custom firmware but i sure that a good majority of american psp owners do. Which means most of those people dont buy any psp games they just download and play them all. You can't decide how popular a title is by psp sales.
does the 360 support mouse and keyboard. i know they have the little chat pad for the controller but i didnt know if you can use a mouse. It would kinda suck to play some mmo's with a controller unless they are designed for it.
Guild wars is not free you have to buy the disc these you download and play.
