I can see for for and against. I suppose they are trying to make it competitive and in general most gamemodes in halo don't last too long however it is true that most games will finish with less players than when it started.
What's worse is not having a separate playlist for the inclusion of guests. Too many times i've played a game where there will be a person and their guest. The person rage quits and then their team has lost half the team in 1 go!
I think the fact that simply changing the name will mean people who were offended now wont be shows how stupid it is.
I remember when in socom you used to play Seals Vs Terrorists but in later games it was changed to Seals Vs mercenaries.
Your still fighting the same people, your still shooting at other 'human characters' and yet because they're not called a certain name it's ok.
Kept forgetting about new vegas and now it's nearly here! so many other games to play too though and really i wanna set some time aside to play an rpg like fallout.
I'm thinking rather than pre order for release (like i do for just about every game) pick it up 1 weekend when i'm bored with nothing to play or wait until i have some time off over xmas
although i understand why some ppl enjoyed the control scheme for me a shooter should be about skill and not fighting with the controls.
True in real life a gun would be heavy to move around etc etc but the input lag was the same whether u where holding a pistol or an lmg.
Tbh it could also be linked into the addition of move support. Imagine how frustrating it would be playing with move if it 'lagged'. Wouldn't say much for the 1:1
didn't have any trouble picking up move the day after launch but the following day I tried to get a second controller only to find they'd sold out
kinda feels like halo 3 with a few new additions and with less thought out game modes.
The objective playlist is horrible at the moment, especially oddball where it's just about whoever grabs it first then just drop a bubble sheild and you can't be touched he rest of the game.
armour lock is just damn annoying and slows gameplay down. nothing worse than having a firefight with someone only for them to go invinsible, usually just resulting in you killi...
they need more sports and online. online alone would make me play this a hell of a lot more. I gave it a go and it shows off the tech well but i'd love to take my table tennis skills online etc and was actually shocked that a ps3 mp game in 2010 doesn't have online support
After not planning to buy it at launch i got it a day after launch lol. Theres no games i really want for it though but i just wanted to try out the tech.
So far the tech is impressive, especially playing the table tennis game in sports champions. I used to play table tennis competitively and so tried out 'my moves' on the game and was surprised how accurate it was in terms of applying spin and so on.
Deffo shows promise, just needs some decent games ...
Will prob pick it up around xmas when there are more games for the thing. Not really any launch titles that appeal to me but theres a fair few 3rd party games that will now support move coming out in the near future

I agree tbh. It's a great game and i pre ordered it but i completed it in a single sitting. I even got the game a day before release and thus completed it before release date lol Played through some of the scenarios differently but it's not the same when you know who the killer is so I traded it in.
Was gonna say, i've been a fan of the COD series since the very first but been a bit dissapointed with the last few, mainly for balancing issues e.g. mw2 it was way to easy to sprint round the map with an smg spraying and a knife + commando.
I'm hoping what Black Ops does is try and strip away the bullshit and give us the game MW2 should have been, plus it has a few new nice additions of it's own, in particular the recording feature
problem with the 3ds is looking at screenshots is pointless, need to actually play it yourself
being multi and with the big name COD will sell more, however if you look at past sales, just on 360 mw2 sold as much if not slightly more than halo 3.
I reckon with a larger install base though Reach may outsell black ops on 360 but not overall
although I do agree that when bashing grammar, you yourself should use good grammar, he's just typing a comment, not writing an article
