This sorta stuff is what's lacking from the bf series since bfbc started up. They made the series almost too linear, even with mp e.g. gold rush. BF was much more fun when it felt more like a sandbox to play in but equally could have great online matches
No to mention in forza you have the option to rewind at any point at no cost = not actually any penalty for crashing and you should never lose a raise on that game.
That sounds like a go at forza, it's not cus i enjoy forza too, but the rewind feature certainly takes any risk out of the damage in forza
So sitlab bought a sim racer and but doesn't like it cus he doesn't like sim racers...
You can't really blame a game for delivering what it's supposed to, but what it delivers isn't to your taste...

I imagine they mean any call of duty games between now and 2012 will get timed exclusive dlc for 360 first then a month later ps3 and pc will get it.
This contract started with cod4 i believe and so looks to include the cod released next year as well as the cod in 2012.
Basically dlc for black ops on 360 will come out then 30 days later you will be able to buy the dlc on ps3/pc
Well this is the first GT5 game online. Well prologue had online but not all the features like GT5 does.
I had a feeling it would be psn related though and started playing whilst logged out of psn last night. The improvement is massive but the fact thats its related to psn and traffic gives me hope they can fix this.
The community features of GT5 look pretty cool so it's a shame that they are whats causing freezes and menu loads that literally last minute...
I think i figured the problem out.
there seems to be an issue when your connected to psn. if i make sure i'm not connected to psn then the menu loading is better.
hope they fix this
still haven't actually bought a car yet. I load up GT5 and can't do anything on the main menu. it's not even loading anything, it just sits there with the menu icons along the bottom and the guys shaking hands on the track.
anyone else have this problem cus it feels like the games broke :s
wow the loading and freezing is really really disrupting my enjoyment of this game. Menu's take forever to load and sometimes just hang meaning you gotta xmb quit

Are you still playing Forza 3 online? I mean i personally loved forza but last time i played online there were about 40 people... 40 people playing the 360's best sim racer...

both have their distinct styles, GT5 going for the more photorealistic look which imo is the best for a sim racer, but then people have their opinions and i'd totally understand if someone said they thought forza looked better.

I agree tbh. Luckily for me i use the road view anyway but it would have been better to just have a generic interior for the standard cars or something
kinda shows what we already know. Moves launch lineup games are better rated than kinects but neither has a killer app yet more like 'if you buy x then the best game is probably y'

I'd love a new Rainbow Six game. Vegas was great but unfortunately wasn't that popular.
I don't believe Rainbow Six could ever compete with COD though for one simple fact... COD has mass appeal i.e. hardcore gamers play it but so too do casual players. On Rainbow Six, Casual players get destroyed because it's a more realistic tactical shooter.
At least on COD a casual player can get some kills, have some fun, use killstreaks etc. I saw so many...
moving round the dashboard with kinect just seems pointless. you would have thought movement and voice commands would be quicker than navigating with a controller but it seemed to take time to process commands as simple as 'next' where he just wanted to go to the next page. plus i think having to hold my hand over something for a few seconds would just be tedious. Like he said, he was expecting to grab it or something but kinect doesn't recognise fingers.

Will ninja is a better counter if your playing against players with headsets/using a headset urself.
and i totally agree with the strela-3. always use this cus theres nothing more satisfying than shooting down a chopper gunner after they're only got 1-2 kills.
in the article it says its not really a counter to the gunner/apache but it really is, you just need to be a bit more cautious but in general the maps aren't as bad for spawn killing with the gu...
